This is my first introduction to Cole, and the fact they committed so hard to the joy of their character that they came in costume, curls bouncing, has endeared me to them forever ❤😂
My hubs wants a day trip and I didn't realize it's still playing! I gotta see if he's up for it. We take a transit bus from capemay to Atlantic City then the Greyhound. I've done it a bunch before the pandemic
He says perhaps!! I have to see how expensive it is though. Knowing Broadway ... But that's the only cost really besides the bus. We'd eat at Jollibee or the dollar slice places.
Question for the group. Can you imagine any other late night host (current or past) being so genuinely and happily engaged with the hand job bit at the end of this interview? With zero qualification or qualm? I'm glad Late Night remains a place of love.
I've been following Cole Escola since their early work with Jeffery Self, and I always knew someday that they'd make it big. I'm just so proud of them and all their accomplishments. I'm especially happy that the world gets to experience their craft.
I've been in a rough time lately and forgot I haven't watched Seth this week...what an absolute joy to see this interview with Cole Escola! Made my day!
Hilarious interview. I'd never seen Cole before, but I wish I could see 'Oh, Mary!" They know how to work that hoop skirt - maybe it'll make a fashion comeback - along with sausage curls!
I frequently watch "A Closer Look" but when Seth mentioned Cole Escola last night on a monologue clip I was PISSED that I couldn't immediately see the rest of the show and had to wait until lunchtime at work today to watch this clip. To this day I still randomly think about and quote various lines from 'Jeffery and Cole Casserole'. I am so happy that Cole has made it so far!!!!! ❤️
What a pleasure to eavesdrop on a conversation between two artists who genuinely like and admire each other. Cole and Seth- in their own very different ways- have kept me going the last few years and I hope they continue to do what they do so well for many, many years.

My favorite Cole Escola moment ever is during Difficult People during a super cut of various characters riffing on "something Tom Cruise would do" and Cole's line delivery of "EAT ASS" lives inside of me for eternity. It is so funny.
Saw the show last night. One of the funniest shows I’ve seen ever. Truly exceeds a laugh a minute, it’s nonstop madcap comedy, harkening back to the best written, physical slapstick comedy from the Carol Burnett years but saucier, on steroids. Brilliant. I hope the Tony awards recognize his performance and the play itself as one of the best. The audience response itself confirms that this comic masterpiece should be taken seriously!
This HAS to be one of my favourite segments from the show-and there are so many great ones from which to choose. @@Broadwaybuff-pi1qg That is absolutely NOT true. Surely his home life with Stefon has made such occurrences positively blasé. 😄
Conan was the king of "rolling with it" in my experience. Still is when he's in the limelight.
And, I think Colbert would, too... He's quite fun and loving as well! Maybe Kimmel would, too. Cheers to Good Humans!
