just a tip i do a lot of shore/ rock fishing using 80 to 120 g jigs but those overcast days are the days that ive had the biggest strikes. Fish love to hunt in overcast. id choose overcast over sunny days anytime. and i fish in oahu which is hella overfished

In Hawaii our most popular lure we use is grubs, we have like a Carolina rig with an egg sinker to a two way swivel, then about 12lb test, arm length, then to a hook. 2” grubs work best for catching many different fish. If your looking to cruise out, then maybe dunking is an option, you can look it up on RUclips on how to make it, and it requires bait, preferably shrimp/squid or octopus.

It’s actually a fat moano but I’d recommend squid for dunking lures would mainly be grubs and any plugs if your going for big game
