Hi everyone! We completely understand your concern about the new sneaker soles, and want to assure you that nothing has changed in the quality of the rubber compound, the way they’re attached, dimensions or weight. Basically, we chose this sole to benefit the wearer. The new serrated pattern provides improved traction, enhanced stability, effective water dispersion, improved comfort and extra durability to extend the sneakers' lifespan. Hopefully you will give them a try and let us know what you think. We’d be happy to provide more information if you’d like. Have a good day.
Aesthetically the previous sole looks way better. Sole looks busier now, and it appears to be moving away from the minimalist appeal of Reid shoes from the past.
I agree with the comments about the sole. Not sure what they were thinking. Takes away the sleekness of the shoe. I have the Reid’s with the old smooth sole and love them, but I won’t be going for those with the ridged sole. Shame, because they have their awesome deal on at the moment too.
They may have changed the sole after I got the shoes. The sole might be different, but hopefully the quality and comfort is the same. So far, I have four pairs from them and they are all comfortable.
@@StyleHimNow it is. I just don’t like how it was advertised as being smooth when I bought it and now they change the graphic and it shows perforations
@@whatisrealwillprosper3846 I noticed that too, they (sneakily) updated. Im glad im not crazy for noticing that. I was like, when i ordered, the sole was smooth.
That's unfortunate that this happened to you. Maybe try messaging them through IG because its pretty active. Hopefully they are able to rectify this issue for you.
They changed the sole. I bought my all white Reid sneaker last year. My sole is lighter colored than the leather upper and has a flat sole. This new sole looks darker and has the ridges on the side. Yours still look good. Just making an observation. Enjoy your Reid!
I must have gotten a bad pair. Lace eyelet ripped the first time I tried to tie them. If leather tears from just normal pressure the first time you try to tie it, something is seriously wrong with the design or materials. The whole eyelet area just feels flimsy compared to other shoes.
Nobody is bothered about the rubber is not similar surrounding the shoe! It has different texture in front and in the back, I wish it was one style all the way around the shoe Am I just too picky?
I don't think you're being picky. I know if I wear shoes that don't fit what I'm looking for, it's gonna be on my mind for awhile every time I wear it. I think you're right about the different texture. That's what a lot of people are talking about.

What is the weight of this shoe?
@@DracoTaco222 Hi there! The average weight of our shoes is 4lbs :)

I like the garcia sneakers better. More aesthetically pleasing to the eyes
Can you uploada picture showing the old style sole. I still do t understand what people are talking about lol
Love the pants! Where did you get them from?
It's a slim fit chino pants from H&M
Is size on par with Vans sneakers ?
Yeah they are on par. True size
Mine come tmmrw. Don’t know why the sole is now perforated… I like it better smooth
If this is your first pair, I think you'll like it as much as I do. Was the sole smooth before?

I just received my sneakers. I’m size 8 and they were too big. Are they supposed to be like that?
They are supposed to be true size. Whatever size you wear for sneaker would be the size for this shoes.
How much for this pair?
They are $169. I also include a link in the description that will take you directly to there.
They have a deal going on right now for 109
What is the weight of the shoe?
About 2 to 2.5 lbs
@@StyleHimNowper shoe? Or both? That sounds quite heavy
I’m size 8. Are they true size or should I get size down ?
It's true size.
Shoes are comfortable but they sent my pair with torn leather side. Can’t get any response from customer service. It’s a terrible experience

That's what a few other customers told me too. I love it. The sneaker feels so comfortable.
Can you upload a picture of old style sole so we could compare. Thx
Helllo can I ask you regarding the sizing of the shoes? I want buy one.😊

Contact customer service for replacement. They have pretty good customer service.
I recommend turning down/off the background music so we can hear your wonderful review better 😀
Thank you for your feedback I will monitor the audio level :)

Shoe bag is made of polyester.
I bought a pair of these and the overall shoe design is so big. Shoes fit true to size and the quality's good but it made me look like a bigfoot 🤡🤡
They are true size. Did you get them bigger than you size?
@@StyleHimNow I got them in my size 11, they fit my feet very well. Their outsole design is so big the shoe is around 12.5".
@@SoMuchSoyI just got mine in size 8 and they were to big. Are they supposed to feel loose and big like that?
