I know these shoes will last a LONG time so it'd be worth the wait, and I can get resoled too. The endorsement from your wife is even better to hear too!
I have a pair of these and morgen trainers. The morgen trainers took about six weeks , but they had the Reids in stock so it only took a few days. The reids are a bit snug and go on sale every couple of weeks and can be bought at around 120 usd. Wait for them to go on sale and save some money for some good sneakers
@@btw-3006 Because it's made in Colombia, which has basically the lowest marginal cost of labor in the world. I'd be skeptical of any products made in Colombia. Mexico on the other hand makes things just as high quality as the USA, even better than the USA many times, and costs much less. Colombia on the other hand has a terrible reputation for scams and corruption.
@@TimJohnson-x1o Ah ok. That makes sense. Speaking of Mexico and shoes, Thursday Boots Company mentions in their FAQs that they make their products in León (Mexico), Porto (Portugal), Alicante (Spain), and Arkansas (USA). I have their premier low tops in coffee and the all white Encore sneakers, have liked them and feel like high quality.
Druthers is a great word, I’m always happy to use it. So one thing I’m not quite clear on with Beckett Simon is their widths, is the standard width E/EE or is it just a roomy E? Also cool shirt, man!
If my wife had her druthers I wouldn’t wear that shirt. 😂 At least she likes my sneakers! If you have wide feet, I’d pass on the Reids. I would opt for the Thursday Premiere instead. They have EE and EEE options.
I have a pair of these. They were a bit to narrow for my wide feel but I broke em in eventually. The insole was weird and I replaced it. Underneath I noticed a piece of extremely hard fiberboard and not leather. So, not the best there and probably why they felt stiff and hard to break in.
Would you wait 6 to 8 weeks for these?

@@CoachTylerJohnston LOL! She knows what she likes!
These, no. Crown Northampton, yes
@@UCanCallMeX I'd love to get my hands on a pair of Crown Northamptons!
@@StrayReviews arent they more than double the price?

For sure. $120 for these is a steal!
@@StrayReviews Sure if you're soft in the head. $120 is vastly overpriced for what this is.
@@TimJohnson-x1o Care to explain why $120 is vastly overpriced?

Mine just shipped. I already have their loafers and Oxford.

Nice! I feel like they fit a bit better every time I wear them.
That just means it's "board lasted." It's an 80s engineering design for torsional rigidity, so your shoes don't flex.
Did you order same size as Nike ?
Yes. These are the same size as my Nike Killshots.
That outsole ruins it :( I saw old videos with flat ones
I never saw the onld ones. They must have been cool.
