Great tie interceptor collection. They're my favorite tie vehicle as well. I'm hoping Hasbro will rerelease these someday. I only have a few and want more.
What's funny is, when you say "from this, to this", if you're not a collector, all you see it's the same ship painted in a different color (which basically is, from a certain point of view)
Great video as always Anthony. I dont have a modern version but have 2 Vintage, 1 mint with unapplied stickers. Such a great ship! Love the bloopers at the end!
I'm such a dumb ass. It's taken me until this time to watch one of your videos. I'm flabbergasted by the quality and the production value of your content. Your animations are amazing and that's coming from someone who used to work at Aardman animation. What an amazing fleet you have too.Good work well done and I salute you. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Wow! Thanks Tez! That means a lot. I actually used to work for an animation studio (Acme Filmworks) back in the day and did some stop motion. I know our owner knew the guys at Aardman.
Came across your video because I recently picked up the TVC version of this vehicle. Couldn't believe you said Frackville, I also grew up in the area and used to get most of my Star Wars toys from the KayBee there. RIP Schuylkill Mall 🙁
brilliant animation, great history of the Interceptor...takes me back to the my original white one {std version} which I still have...great vid look forward to more...Question where did you acquire those Imperial banners?
Very nice. The kind of video effort I can appreciate. For the SFX you can watch my "Star Wars Kenner TIE FIGHTER SOUND EFFECTS INSIDE Instructions JCP Catalog1978 | Collection THX1138" the motor is most likely siezed and can be spun with your finger to losen it up. Be warned the spherical cockpit is extremely difficult to handle and put back together especially with the classic spring loaded wings assembly. I almost gave up but one last try I got it together. I need to run it once a year to make sure it stays loose. Sewing machine oil is said to help keep it loose. btw do you have an X-wing miniatures game collection? They have nice sculpts.
Thanks! Ironically the sound eventually started working on its own. 🤪 I don't play the miniature game. but LOVE the pieces. I take a good look every year at SDCC.
How did you modify the elite interceptor? Did you just change-out the cockpit section with the shadows of the empire target tie fighter, or did you actually replace the hatch and windshield with the same? If you did remove and replace the windscreen, can you tell us how you did it without damaging it?
It was indeed a simple swap of the shadows cockpit with the 181st fighter wings. The color doesn't prickly match, but it's close enough. Removing the viewport glass on the latest cockpits is very pretty difficult.
@@TheImperialCommunique thank you for the reply! I hope you don't mind but i fully intend to copy your modification for my meager fleet.. Please keep doing your videos, I adore them!
The typo has been pointed out. Apologies.
The Imperial Communique Thank You for this, I have certain Tie Fighters in a glass case thus in my home office. 🔥
The stop motion and blooper were good:)
Love the use of Stop Motion!
It's a great ship, l have two. Although my favourite is the Gun Ship.

Sir Anthony: *says "It retains-"
Tie Interceptor: Hehe, I'm in danger
Subscribed! A fellow 3.75 imperial collector. I never picked up the amazon exclusive because I have the 181st version. I regret it
Thank you for the subscription!

Long live the empire
Awesome video. The stop motion, information, and that shirt were all spot on. 10/10 on this one!
Really good content man, keep going!!
Great Interceptor squadron. Hasbro needs to release a TIE Avenger & TIE Defender though. I suppose the TIE Outlander may be in the queue as well.
I so agree. There's a local vender that has a custom Defender that I want so badly.
Love it!
🙃
You want to sell one of the latest. 2013 would be awesome. 👍
One of my fav channels!
Thanks so much! Hope to get more content out soon. 🤞

The were packed with the 501st Legion Stormtrooper which was a San Diego ComicCon Exclusive in 2006.
I need me one of those TIEs.
what do you think about the Hasbro 6 inch star war figures?
They're fantastic! I just don't have room for them. 🤪
Very nice video!
Thanks as always sir! Imperial Shipyards rocks!
Stunning work!
I don't understand the, With a Slight Substitution, line at 4:39.
I used a different cockpit with the wings! I used the cockpit from the Target “Shadows” version. Sorry I didn’t make it clearer.
@@TheImperialCommunique No problem. Thanks for answering.
@@TheImperialCommunique Is it because the canopy door doesn't work on the 30th anniversary ship? Because mine does not fit.
@@Acrocanthosaurus it’s actually more mundane, lol. All my wing leaders (one wing is 8 ships plus a leader) have the purple/pink tinted cockpits. 🤓
