I fail to see the purpose of building a RIB for anything other than a tender or a towboat. Anyone who buys this boat is going to make sure it doesn't rub against anything and scratch the finish, which defeats the whole purpose of owning a RIB. And without that advantage, the RIB design just makes for a wider boat with less interior space than a pure fiberglass boat.
