#88 :A Day Stalking at Avington Trout Fishery

This was a breezy bright day at Avington in mild June and I'd arranged a get together with a group of top guys. The Lakes Were Gin clear, but the wind was blowing hard on lake 2 which made stalking difficult as the day went on we managed plenty of good fish in the 4-8lb range and the copper coloured stalking bug did the damage for me.

The fish not fighting does tend to be more of a summer thing …. Usually they fight like Mike Tyson on roids. I feel Avington is on its way to making a comeback after the loss of Dever
