The vision where Firefly appears was given to Moon by Darkstalker as a possible future. Given Darkstalker's nature to deceive dragons no matter who they are, it's most likely a bad "Darkstalker wins" timeline, where some butterfly effect caused Firefly to not be born.

I've done some research, while it could be, the universe of Wings Of Fire regarding dragons can be a bit confusing on the details on what's considered a adult and stuff, and isn't there a law or some sorts that's called the Romeo and Juliet law in real life that helps prevents incidents of one person accusing the other of being in a relationship with someone younger than them? (To a logical degree.)

WOF dragons are fully aged at 7. Deathbringer first appears when all 5 dragonets (Including Glory) are close to 6, and Deathbringer is 12. Deathbringer knew that Glory was a child because his orders described Glory as a dragonet.
BREAKING NEWS: In a recent interview event with Tui, she said the DoD are 6, making them teenagers in human years, around 14-17. 7 years old is NOT when dragons are fully grown, and it is just when their growth starts slowing down. There isn't any specific correlation between dragon and human years. Meaning the ship isn't pedophilic.
