Is it pretty much the output ICs that go out? Thanks for the video, I am in the process doing this, but indeed need another hand to hold back that panel, it is stiff and not giving me room to take the nuts off of the amp base, I am worried it may crack if I force it with my shoulder...
Can u put an after market amp in or bypass it some how not to familiar with electronics but having this same issue any info would be appreciated thanks
This amplifier has an inbuilt DSP, so the short answer is NO! That's why Supertech Electronics repair these factory car stereo amplifiers. Its a cheaper option to repair than replace. If you buy second hand you might be buying the same problem, as we see many of these come in for repair as its a viable option to go this way.

Had a dealer told me to replace the entire radio for $1,250. Just about to send my amp to Supertech - hope they can fix it.
