How does your 2012 Sportage have a touch screen and push start? Mine doesn’t. But I have a normal radio that no longer works and this is the only video I can find. I am trying to figure out which is the best touch screen I o replace it with.
Hi, my stereo same as this has lost all volume. No Bluetooth volume, no radio volume etc etc. I’ve checked the main fuses and pulled the yellow fuse clip to reset the stereo but still the same. My question is that does the stereo have another fuse for volume on the unit it self ? Kind regards Zed
Good day mate, I owe a kia sportage SI 2012 manual and I would like to install any android head unit, some retailers ask me pictures of the centre of the unit but I don't know how to remove it. By any chance do you please have any picture of the back of the head unit? I would appreciate it.
Hi Julian, We are a repair shop. We prefer repair over replacement. We don't like the cheap Android units because they always break down after a year or so, then you have no support because they are made cheap by manufacturers who hide behind brand names that don't exist, or change brand names and production factories 3 months after you bought it. Half the time things like steering wheel control and CAN interfaces do not marry up with the car. You are going down a rabbit hole we know and strongly don't suggest. Our opinion would be to get it repaired, or if you want more features that the factory radio does not offer, look for premier brands that will support you like Alpine and Pioneer. These well supported manufacturer's units will cost you thousands of dollars but save you thousands of head aches! Otherwise it's time to buy a newer car with all of those features included in the factory radio!

When I put car in reverse it doesn’t activate rear camera on screen anymore, any idea ?
is there another fuse in that radio ? I'm asking becaouse in my kia radio just died, general fuse is ok
