The foot paths can be wider considering the ending lane is unusually wider .. expand the foot path and put up plants in between to encourage people walking ! Also get rid of those old looking 60-70s walls and install grills which will showcase landscaped premises of those building ! Lane markings !! Better than 15 years ago when I was there . But a lot more needs to be done

Madras - derived from 'Madrasapattinam' a tamil fishing village which thrived centuries before the entry of British is certainly not an European or English name. It's a tamil name while chennai derived from 'chennapattnam' is actually a telugu name, chenna means good or fair in telugu while there is no word called chennai in tamil lexicon. A 14th century stone inscription found in Peneeswaramadam, Krishnagiri district clearly states there was a town by name 'Madarasapattinam'' captured by Kampana king. (Just check on the internet). The city name should be reversed back to Madras & correct the historical mistake. Just as Kovai used as an abbreviation for Coimbatore, Madras from 'Madarasapattinam' is not an English name, but tamil. Pls start an online platform for the name change. #backtoMadras.
I'm not from India. Watched videos of BLR and hyd as well. Now here watching chennai video. All 3 cities looks almost the same. Dirty, noisy and underdevoloped.
Banglore roads are narrow and traffice is hell...Hyd excep those few IT township othrs are worst than this..and in sumer u will get sunstroke in hydrabad

To add on the grills maybe we could use futuristic grills that have multiple colours flash it will really add a vibrant look.

Their should be a separate land for ambulances and a separate project should be in place to beautify the roads

Chennai is lagging behind. Compared to BLR and HYD, this is like a small town now. Looks downright ugly in some places.
