    What Type and size brake pads were they? Brand suggestion. Thanks

      I don't recall the brand, I just went to O'Reilly auto parts and they helped me get the ones that fit.

      Thank you. I did the same thing, going to O'Reilly. Love your video, it was so easy to do. Yes, I did it. Again, thank you.

    What size is the bottom bolt of the caliper?

    • @workbenchz
      @workbenchz  Год назад

      I don't know. Advanced auto lookup indicates the caliper bolts are both M12x1.25x40.35.

    What about bleeding the brakes? Never done it myself before but im considering so i can save money.

    • @workbenchz

      It's a 2 man job, one to pump the brake pedal and one to open/close the bleeder valve. I've done it multiple times, I'll try to film the next one.

      @@workbenchz ok, is it required though? Did you do it with yours?

      @workbenchz  Год назад

      @@micahdaniels7784 It shouldn't need it every time. If the shop changed your pads and rotors last time, and your brakes feel very solid before you choose to change just the pads, they shouldn't need bleeding. If you change the brake line and open the lines to air then it is definitely required. It is my own choice (and not professional advice) to change just the pads in between letting the shop do a full brake job of pads/rotors/fluid flush.

      @@workbenchzI did that by myself, it took a little longer and a pipe to hold the brake in place, but I gots it done

    It’s cheaper to do it myself. I think I can. I will succeed 🎉 I’ll post updates if I can.

      I have 2 brake pad videos on this channel, they aren't that different, you can do it. There are plenty of other ones on RUclips as well, watch a lot to get comfortable with how it should go.
