@@alankucar8025 on the adv market you can’t deny the Ducati an GS are great machines. But so is the KTM. I test drove the r1250gs and love every minute of it, but after having a F750GS (loved it), going into a bigger engine will not be the R1250GS. One thing I’ve learned: everything BMW is expensive as hell. An there are just to many GS on the road, that turns it boring to look at. The engine is a powerhouse, but you can’t be a hooligan, if you want so, like you can be on the 1290 sas. And I truly love that alien 👽 shaped headlight

I love your road positioning to give you the best view around the corner especially on right hand bends. I think i prefer the old dress the 901 had but this does seem like a good touring bike with maybe a pillion and luggage especially if you are going off road to get better camping sites. It does seem to pull well through the rev band like you said. Iv’e been out of action for a while but i’m back even if it is in a wheelchair. As ever stay and speed safe.😊👍
It sound awesome, just wondering did you mount your mic closer to the pipe for rec? Also does this Norden have an aftermarket slip-on, or maybe mid pipe as well? Sounds allot better then on many other reviews I have watched... So how tall are you, your inseam, how do you find the Norden tall, high of the ground, can you flatfoot or at least easily reach the ground on tiptoes, bolls of your feet? I am 31.6 inseam and 5/10, 5/11 179cm tall. I hope it's not to tall for me I love the bike, I live in Croatia, unfortunately there's no were I can go and test ride the Norden 901 in my country...Hopefully soon I'll be able to at least go and seat on one. But in fact I love the bike so much I am selling my BMW R9T to buy the Norden.

The suspensions don’t seem to sink or nose dive much under braking pressure and I love that. The LC8 is capable of delighting any rider- off road or asphalt, no doubt.
@@Schaaf Today I sat on a new 901 in the agency just to get a feel from it. This seat has a very weird design and feel. I haven't decided whether I like it or not ... something in the agronomics is missing. my previous 1090 ADV was better in that aspect.

I’ve had a few Tiger 800’s over the years and loved them. Zero issues ever. Best sounding ADV bike in the market but always felt clunky off-road. So, I decided to get a Norden thinking I’d be giving up some on road manners for a better dirt experience. I was wrong. The Norden is a great street bike, and a great off-road bike. I’m 5’9” and can stand up on this thing all day. It hauls ass too, and is much torquier down low than the Tiger. I’ve hustled it on some spots about twice as fast as I’d dare ride the Tiger and it stayed composed. I bottom it in g-outs but that my fault for not adjusting anything. Anyways, I’m happy I got it.

This is one of the mountain roads that crosses Montseny natural park....lovely landscape, sights,,,,and roads.... And only 60 km away from the big city of Barcelona !!!. Did you had to adjust also the Compression and Rebound for sport mode? Mine dives a lot on corners and thinking to play a bit with the front suspension.

I was quite hyped about that one and it did not dissapoint! They took the good parts from KTM, added some more and gave it a nice fresh look - what's not to like about this? Imo the Norden definitely one-ups the 890 ADV.
I may just be whining here but could you make the message boxes appear and disappear without the sounds? It distracts a bit when you just want to listen and look at the bike and surroundings. Thanks in advance, maybe XD Great video love every single one of them :)

You can ride very agressive with those Pirellis on street road. I have good experience riding my Svartpilen 401. I have contact with my "Angstnippel" before reaching the limits of the tyres.
How do you feel confident with 21' wheel and such long suspention travel? I own a 790 Adventure and I basically am scared of riding in the curves agressively because I don't feel any contact with the road...

I had that issue with mirrors in my unit at 120km/h. In my opinion that is unacceptable in a bike of that price. My XADV with pirelli STR (same tires) have no vibration at any range of speed.

On roads like this with lots of blind curves it should anyway not be your tires that limit speed, but how far you can see - and how if you can stop within that distance.
I heard the norden 901 run at idle and the engine sounded like crap, like it is going to fall apart. But the riding sound is much nicer. It would bother me at the stop lights though
So judging from your comments the wind protection is worse than on the 890 adventure? I have an AT and was considering the 901 because the ATs turbulence drives me nuts...mmm

Took me a while to understand that the big number in the display is the traction control level and only the smaller one displays the gear 🤔
that's because I'm using the Explorer mode in which you can manually adjust TC on the go :)

they're almost the same. But you won't have turbulences because there literally is zero wind protection on your head.
