Did you freeze the blue cup in the freezer? Once the cup is ice cold you pour in your liquid and then squeeze and it'll turn into slush ice.

My little brother has one of those cups and it works exactly as described so long as you follow the instructions. They didn’t follow the instructions; the cup is supposed to be frozen (you’d see frost if it was frozen enough) and you’re supposed to continually squeeze the cup until the drink is frozen.
Just put the liquid in the freezer and take it out before it’s solid. Ez
The fact they failed to do something that is so heavily advertised with that specific thing means that they clearly never watched any of the vids, didn't write it, and couldn't even be assed to read basic instructions.

I learned fairly recently that you have to prime spray bottles sometimes. Squeeze the trigger while it is set to off a few times, then go back to spray and it should work.
The reason your freezer cup didn't work is you are supposed to squeeze it, not just let it sit around (it has to spend some time in the freezer before you use it of course)...take it out of the freezer, pour in your beverage, squeeze the cup repeatedly until it turns into a slushie.
You can do the same thing with two ziplock backs, some ice (crushed works well) and some salt...put drink in one bag, seal it, put it into the other bag, fill the outer bag with the ice and salt, then just shake it around...oh and you can make ice cream with this method as well (probably can with the cup too, just add heavy cream as your liquid and try it?)
For the freeze cup you are supposed to freeze the cup first, then when you pour the drink in squeeze it constantly until it becomes a slushy

The Pink Stuff paste is actually really good. Its basically an abrasive paste like semi-liquid sandpaper if that makes any sense haha. Really good around the kitchen sink.
The Pink STuff is actually really good, we use it a lot in my house and I use it occasionally to clean metal and coins that are too dirty, not rusty, just dirty, makes it look brand new
In the UK we use thr pink stuff to clean the cooking stoves.

I live by the pink stuff paste. We have these cheap counter tops in the kitchen that stains so easily. A small bit of the pink stuff, little water and the stain is lifted. Great item.
I'm sure it works as advertised but I have to say it's just cleaning putty at a drastically marked up price. Literally no reason not to buy a five-dollar tub that has 20x the amount at your local hardware store or just on Amazon.

The squeeze cup works because the liquid in the walls of the cup have a lower freezing point than the liquid you pour into it and once the cup is frozen solid, the super cold liquid in the walls and the drink you put in it begin to equalize and will do so very quickly when you squeeze the hell out of it. The two liquids end up at the same temperature, just below freezing point as a slush.
Something similar happens when you take a bottle of below freezing liquid that has not frozen over yet and hit it somewhere and it forms ice crystals, which form other ice crystals until the liquid is slush.
