That is called compartmentalization and we all do it.... For example you might have learned as a kid that Christopher Columbus who discovered America nearly fell to a mutiny on his ship cos the sailors thought the ships would sail off the edge of the flat earth...
BUT thats not true on several fronts.
1. Columbus's mariners sextant he used on his voyages, is in a museum in Madrid, it only works on a sphere cos... well its a sextant. Sailors used sextants then. They knew the earth was round.
2. Columbus never set foot in what is now the United States. In fact he died not even knowing it existed at all. America as the name suggests was discovered by Amerigo Vespucci - hence the term America. Or alternatively it may have been Leif Erikson that discovered America. Columbus died thinking the islands we call the Caribbean were in fact the coast of Asia.
3. Nobody that was a sailor in the 15th or 16th century thought the world was flat this came from a novel by Washington Irving and it was a fictional book based on Columbus.
So see... some of those you might have known but you just keep them in separate parts of your brain and you are careful never to pull them all out at once. And about 30% of the knowledge you have is contradictory. You can pull two things out that you BELIEVE that cannot both be true.

What is a Christian to me? Some emboldened teenage thugs went into a Jewish cemetery in n my home town and defaced all of the headstones with words and nazi references. The cemetery which is located between two churches, Methodist and Baptist broke services for the morning and went into the cemetery to clean up the headstones and other disrespectful mess. We only found out about it after they had pretty much completed the task and the ministers’ called the rabbis of the three congregations.
To me that is a meaningful, respectful act of Christianity. I’m proud to call this my hometown. People of quality. In the event that you don’t know what Christian Nationalism means, it’s just another word for fascism.

Matthew 5 - 7. It's known as The sermon on the Mount. Regardless of what you think about Jesus Christ, I think you'd have to admit that if we were all following those precepts, we'd be in a lot better place. The spoiled me culture waste time on gender identity, lame tiktok etc. videos, the lack of moral responsibility for their actions, "everybody is a winner" mentality...can't even work a job, pay bills, have a vehicle, as adults without complaining that they have no time, energy, or resources to "enjoy" life...in the 1700's there was no electricity, running water in homes, grocery stores, or leisure time. People had to make bread from scratch daily, make their own clothes that they washed by hand an hung out to dry....you seem to fit in to the category of the moronic with your ridiculous comment about people being moronic because they did not have access to the internet...LOL
I mean, there are definitely more educated people than there were back then. With that being said, people like to assume that being in the present means being at the height of technology, and that’s simply not true. We may be at the height of digital technology, but not masonry, for example.
