Here is what I don’t like, after struggle to install this on my ultra. This video leaves out a of small steps and considering its an after market controller you should have a property filmed, clear concise video with a step by step process. This is just a “drop by video” with an install overview. The controller is clearly originally designed for a different bike, (light bee). For the cost, I would expect it to be built to fit. The Surron Controller that is on the Ultra is clearly a premium build already and fits like a glove. Lastely, That throttle cable you’re using in that video is NOT the same on in my kit. Mine is much shorter and it was a nightmare to get it to even reach to throttle at the bars. I have connectors jammed up behind the batter that should clearly be seated down below. If I have made any sort of error or require a replacement cable I will update this accordingly.
@@BrunoPOWEEER your videos are always fun you are a Master with the bufang motors back in the day just wondering what your final version of that was, and where is the trike brother thanks for sharing these videos with us
Really looking forward to this! Thanks for the great work! On another note, I think you may be recording these videos on your phone in HDR and then when you export them, they are SDR and this causes brightness issue and washed out colors. You may want to try switching your phone to record in SDR and then your video quality will be perfect when you upload them.
It would be nice to know when spending £1400 + fitting on a x9000 controller for an ultra bee, how faster from a standard machine and battery range would be mentioned.Thanx Ian
I’ve recently installed my x9000 but when I turn the throttle it is making an electric engine noise and not moving. They don’t go over any settings of the app I’m hoping it’s something simple like that because I’ve followed all the steps of the video and double checked connections.
LBX is 6kW stock and Ultra is 12kW installing the X-9000 you bump from 12kW to 17kW on the stock battery or 30kW with the big 22s High Power EBMX battery... monster torque and much more precise throttle control (VESC)
@@BrunoPOWEEER But will it last? we seen LBX motors not en joying the higher KW, and heat. What is the difference on the motors? when can we see i video of 30kw ultra full test? all i see is beginners online trying them out. As a former moto X rider, i need to know for sure that this is the one, as my old LBX (stock) was not even close to what i need it for.
@@internetttroll1908i'm also curious What is the mod difference between light bee and ultra and what are temperatures on stock battery 17kW ultra and with 30kW ultra with their battery- I want to order some for me but... I'm not sure about that things
You can keep the indicator lights, front and tail lights, we removed the indicator/turn lights from this bike because this is going to be offroad only but you can keep them fully functional its a separate 12v circuit regardless of the controller you're using.
what country are you in? you get a new display but the OEM display does not function accept for lights and horn.. speed and modes is on the new SW102 display.
You can keep the indicator lights, front and tail lights, we removed the indicator/turn lights from this bike because this is going to be offroad only but you can keep them fully functional its a separate 12v circuit regardless of the controller you're using. You can actually remove the stock display completely, speed and modes are now on the SW102 display, can switch between modes the exact same way using your right thumb... and you bump the power from 12kW to 17kW stock battery or up to 30kW with the 22s high power EBMX battery
I am in the US, that being said, I strongly encourage the developers to find a way to retain the OEM display and bridge or mirror the basic speedometer data. Since there is no user interaction needed on the OEM odometer, it can still act as a display mirror. When is the new display unit coming out for the Ultra Bee?

you're actually gaining a new feature which is a variable regen brake (throttle) so you can manually control how much rear regen brake you want. The stock twist throttle still the same and much more precise control with the X-9000 (VESC based technology) and you also gain more power bumping from 12kW to 17kW on the stock battery or 30kW on the 22s EBMX high power battery..
Can you do another video on the benefits of this vs the stock one for the ultra bee?
12kW vs 17kW stock battery or 12kW vs 30kW with big 22s High Power EBMX battery... monster torque and much more precise throttle control (VESC)

Did the full screen display replacement ever come out?

please follow instructions for an issue on your QR card or email us for support thanks Josh
when the new display comes out I will purchase the controller for my ultra . I wonder what are the numbers with the new controller ?
Honestly for me not having the stock display or turn signals is a really big con.
so do u still have twist throttle or is it all controlled on the thumb ?
Twist throttle is the same. The left thumb throttle is also there as regen
Does the 17 kw stock battery setup increase top speed ?
Thanks for posting
So the normal throttle is also out of function?
What power are we talking? what is the difference lbx and ultra motor? 20kw+ no heat problems possible?
LBX is 6kW stock and Ultra is 12kW

super easy install 🤙🏼
will turn signals and lights work once the new display is released?

Do you lose the stock display I know you lose the blinkers and things but the display is most important so I can change the settings and see speed

When is the new display unit coming out for the Ultra Bee?
How do you see battery life left with the x9000?
Can you still have turn signals somehow?
In Israel we must have turn signals in order to keep the ultra bee street legal
Is there any way around it?
no signals or lights are disabled

Looks messy with all the wire and hacked to death what's the pros?

The original motor rotate diferent for this controler
Your information Is bad you dont explain that the cables dont respect the colors
Yeah nah, looks sketch and you end up with a thumb throttle?
the thumb throttle is for variable regen.. nothing sketch about this at all.
