I’m going to be so honest here, this is one of the best and clearest review on a MTB that I’ve ever watched. Your voice is very clear, the camera angle is great, and you include a lot of information while still having a laugh. 10/10
I am thinking of getting one of these with the Ride 2 work scheme. I bought a Basis Beacon this way, had it for 3 years until it was stolen. So am looking for a replacement really. Best and healing wishes to your friend. Re sale, if not sold yet then I am in the Southeast of England. Kind Regards, Keith
You're not wrong. I bought an ebike this spring and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I've been out on rides up to 35 miles. I still have my ordinary push bike. Since I've had the ebike I've been out on it just once! (Thise hills!!)
A top tip if you getting any cut outs from the battery rattling around...use a bungee cord and wrap it around the battery and frame nice and tight for extra support.
I have one in the shed I use for the winter work commute. It provides decent grip in snow and on icy roads.. purchased pre covid price hikes so actually got a good deal on it.. Downsides are that the batts not that reliable regarding charge/distance.. and once the batt is flat the bike feels heavy and sluggish.. Bog standard seat is one of the worst ive ever sat on and the frame shape just doesn't suit me on longer rides.. All in all though its a decent short range commuter bike..
So bit of an odd question, im new to the whole e bike thing, and with this bike when you turn off the power are you able to just use it as a normal pedal push bike?
@@PaulGreenVlog There was a video announcing new 'tech', which reviewed it favourably as the first e-road bike under 1,000 pounds. Looked good, never been seen since.
I have the carrera vengeance without the motor. But i want to convert it into an ebike. Ideally i want 48v 2000w motor, but im not sure how thisvis possible. How do i know if a motor conversion kit with the back wheel changed is compatible with my bike?

Hi Keith. It is sold now I'm afraid. Something like this would be great on Ride 2 Work scheme
Great video and bike!!!!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it

Hey man, long time no speak. Testing one of these to buy on Tuesday so thought I'd go to youtube to see some reviews....and look who I found.
Hey Dave. One of your old videos popped up on my feed last week! I wondered what you were up to! I'll email you!

Don’t keep the battery in a cold shed! Try and store the battery at about 80% charge(I think).

Yes indeed..... Then it is just a heavy bike!
Anyone know what happened to Halfords' e-road bike, announced a couple of years ago? It looked very good, but I have heard nothing of it since.
. not heard of that tbh

Sorry..... I don't have the knowledge on this one I'm afraid
Google bafang mid drive. They sell full kits to make any bike into an ebike.
Try the yose 350w kit , a fair bit less power but looks very legal.
Wjats it like going up a steep hill?
300w doesnt seem much
It was real easy!
Would you recommend this for commuting 10 miles a day 50 a week for a pretty big guy or go for a more expensive one
I think it should be fine. Just keep battery charged
I would think so.... Just keep battery charged
Is there a kickstand that is compatible with this bike?
It actually had a s and fitted. You can see at 7.00 on the video... You did have to be slightly careful on operating though 😊
Is bike still available
No sorry... It sold really ally quickly
Paul : Is this bike still unsold as I'll take it off your hands ?
hi.... sorry but I'm afraid it has been sold now
