Hi Mak, I join Piere Vogzola. This Tipulidae larva is new to me. It's great to have people like you always teaching new things. I'm going to start tying it this afternoon. May God give you good health, because I want to continue enjoying your flies throughout this year. Thank you very much and take care of yourself.
Hi Mak, a Daddy Long Legs larvae is a new one for me, I have never seen an imitation tied in the larvae stage, occasionally I have come across the dry fly but it’s very rare. I hope you have success with it. Harera
A nice version of Frank Sawyers Killer Bug there Mak. I’ve never understood this clamouring to get Chadwicks 477 at any price. I don’t think Frank Sawyer would’ve chosen a specific colour as in 477. I think he just chose a colour to suit the bug he was trying to mimic plus it was probably lying around for darning socks. The desire for Chadwicks 477 is ridiculous. Thanks for uploading this one Mak.
Thank you El, well said! I totally agree with you, like I mentioned in Video, if you see anything which is you think good enough for Imitation buy it, This one works really well :))
Hi Mak , really didn’t think this was very representative of this larvae ( in all honesty I have only seen them in pictures) until you wet it! Quite a close match I think. Should catch fish. Also a great reminder to look for really useful materials in hobby shops, thrift shops and back yard sales. Well done sir.
Simplicity is always the best. I added some red flash in the segments. I'm of the opinion fancy fly's are for the fishermen not the fish. Thank you for sharing.

I looked at your opening picture of the flies and thought, that looks like Fisherman’s wool yard, It looked more like it in the loose ball.
Thank you Lee :)))

Попробовала связать, круто, только вместо ниток использовала шерсть для валяния, ещё лучше получается, мушка как бы мохнатая.
