it's a shame that both Latvians and Lithuanians while having a Russian gauge choose 2820mm European body width with their new Pesa and Skoda trainsets instead of a wider 3200mm. It's a missed opportunity to have more comfort /transport more passengers.
The new trains, in addition to all the other squeaks, such as ventilation without mufflers, the terrible squeak of doors throughout the entire cabin, the rumble of wheels, the creaking of inter-car connections, have already added the hum of traction gearboxes, like in older trains. It seems that the service life of the gears of the yag drives was designed for one year. Moreover, they installed hitchhiking from old trains, and I think, not only hitchhiking, but also many other systems in order to “save” money, which is why the old trains do not run.
The Minister of Transport said: since more than half of the trains have broken down and are not running, we will return the trains to Skoda. to which Christopans asked: will you return the kickbacks too? then the minister replied: oh, well then we’ll just fine Skoda[.
Really? Do You think, that frozen toilets, problems with door sensors, discharging train batteries and other issues are from Latvia's rail gauge and infrastructure? There are definitely Skoda quality control issues.
@@trainzcentral2173 the problem are only in Latvia, in the another countries where is this type are better tracks and better service from natonal transport companies. This problem is ONLY here( even your carrier and the Ministry of Transport have admitted problems with the infrastructure!).IThe carrier must realize that modern trains also include care for the infrastructure and maintenance in the depots - this is not Soviet technology. If you have broken tracks like somewhere in India, it is an incredible load on the frame of the car and no wonder it causes problems. If you neglect these two things, anyone can drive there and it would be a problem. ŠKODA cars are also driven in Germany, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and there have been NO such problems. Caring for tracks and maintenance in depots is standard there! I am not a citizen of the Czech Republic!I was in the Baltic beautiful areas, but the state of the railway infrastructure, but also the tracks in several cities and areas is des. It is not surprising that modern technology does not provide this.
Really? The same old crap. Moreover, more bugs were added. They shaking, struggling, can't ride normally, because of less motors, and so on. The joints of vagons have abnormal geometry, and jumping even on the straight lines. In the 80th's, RVR announced same thyristor trains, but because of poor quality of thyristors they became unusable in a short time. Now, we payed for the same. Again.
@@eduards5702well it may be because of the infrastructure. When i hear that, theres no wonder, it would be shaky and noisy. (Reminds me of a train engineers, who worked on narrow gauge locos at ČKD. Their locos were perfect (still run in Czech Republic), but in eastern coutries, their bodies broke multiple times. Reason? Bad infrastructure. They told them, they would pay for repairs, but they have to repair their tracks.) And train not having problems at start is a miracle. Even Stadler has them. It just needs time and people.
1:25 finally stations are getting renovated!
Yes! The new one's are pretty good.
0:45 why did he stop behind the sign?
Super new Latvian trains 2024 🇱🇻🇱🇻🇱🇻
Interestiong train.
The 9th of march was the last day of brisken's ultimatum but there is no any reaction.

🤔why they using the Dutch NS collors?🤔they get a problem.😂
Dutch colours are yellow and blue. Vivi colours are yellow and charcoal gray-black.

Problem Is not Skoda but your historical tracks and infrastrukture.Modern train + normal infrastructure as in another Europe.

thanks to the most disastrous project 16ev, Skoda gained fame as the stupidest manufacturer and the Skoda vagonna brand became simply a dirty word.
And then bunch of problems happened :D

Rather noisy trains
Well, they are not the quietest trains, but they are still way better than ER-2 :)
