There is this magical thing called watching your language and agreeing to disagree. Besides, we can all agree that Sam Hunt is neither Traditional or Contemporary. He is Pop.
All do respect, you don't have to cuss everybody out. Also Country music is made up of two things. first off, the lyrics. Country music must tell a story. It should have depth and be real. Second, the sound. The base instruments that make up Country music are acoustic guitar, pedal steel guitar, harmonica, fiddle and banjo. Yes, not all country songs have to have all these instruments and yes, not all Country songs tell deep stories, but the fact remains that they only called it Country music because of these two sides. What about Sam Hunt has either of these two things?
It is good to hear some actual country music like this. Country radio programmers should be ashamed of themselves for ignoring this song.

Too many songs are passed off as country just because of the lyrics &/or the voice used. The melody, this melody, is what Millennial Country is all about. That Generation X crap can't hold a candle to songs and artists like this. God bless W.M.M!

I wish that country radio stations were NOT as afraid as they are to air REAL country music. They think non real country music attracts more and more people. But I've noticed that thousands and thousands of real country music fans will never listen to current so called country music (When you do put Keith Urban's latest album "Ripcord" (it is a pop album to the bone, except maybe for one song) on Billboard's "country album chart", now you know that there is a HUGE problem in country music, (thanks to Billboard, Taylor Swift's "1989" never was on any country charts, simply because it is not a country album at all!) and you do not put Lenny Kravitz on a country award télevision show, even if he is performing with Jason Aldean (does Jason do real country anymore? No, he does not neither).

I met this guy in the Dallas Bull in Tampa Florida and I've become a fan of his and I said it was an honor to meet him. And God bless him and his family and that he reminded me of Randy Travis one of my favorite singers and he was honored we took a picture together and the rest is history

I found this from a Michael Peterson video. When I clicked on it, I actually asked myself if this was a 90's Country song that I had somehow missed all these years, but the UP engines and video quality dated it. This is a great song, and should get more air time. Also, I really want that Ford.

Mary Leverock what's funny, Mary, is that this guy is so good that he's making it without country radio support: apparently the song Vinyl cracked the pop charts in Italy and peaked at number 3 in december, which is awesome since there's not market for country music in Europe.
