Absolutely love behind the scenes! You are so creative, I admire how your themes always change just a little to keep it fresh. I wanna know everything, LOL. I know you value your privacy, but I wanna know what you had for lunch, if the baby is teething and how's the weather 😂. I like hearing how you came up with themes and seeing all the different customer requests for journal orders. Maybe if you need a change of pace you can do music instead of voice overs ( sometimes). So far I'm so pleased with your content, and I'm excited about lettering tutorials 😊

I’m so excited for this series! I’ve made a few custom journals as gifts and they are so fun!
I would love to make custom journals so I have a few questions on that-
A) where do you begin with starting on RUclips? I wouldn’t even know where to start but feel it’s important for bringing eyes to your product.
B) how do you calculate and then decide on how much they should cost? I have such a hard time coming up with a price. I’ve been making them for friends and family for free for a while now but would love to be able to make them for others and charge but have no idea how to figure out how much to charge.
C) Have you ever come across people wanting you to do themes you aren’t comfortable with and how do you handle that? I don’t mean art-wise. I’ll give an example, as a Christian I would not want to do a theme that was based on any kind of witch craft or spell casting or astrology type of things. How would you handle it if someone asked for that? Or is that where your RUclips comes in- you create videos with themes you ARE willing to do and kind of attract those same type of people? I’m not saying everyone would have to believe all the same things as me, but there’s certain things I would not consider creating a theme about that cross a line for me. Like Halloween themes would be another one. Have you ever been asked to do something of that nature that you weren’t okay with doing or promoting on your page?

I love everything you do. I wish there was a way for you to index all your themes. I loved your UFO theme, but now cannot find the video where you doodled it out. I would buy a book or a Etsy printable of all your themes with colored examples.
Aw thank you ☺️ honestly I struggle with that too! People message me asking where to find specific themes but I have no clue… they all kind of blend together for me and I’m not sure how to keep track!
Is there a way to tag the themes where we can do a search? That might be a big task...when I see ones I like I minimize the screen so I can see the name of the video and screenshot my faves or just save the whole video in a BUJO catalog

Hi Rylee, love your easy and beautiful designs. I have a question. Does thickness of page affect the shades of colours?
That’s a good question! I know different pages often display colours slightly differently but I’m not sure if it’s due to the thickness or due to the coating on the page or something like that

What do you do if you make a mistake in a custom journal?
It happens all the time! It really depends on the size and type of mistake. If it’s a big mistake I’ll just cut a whole page (or at least a big chunk) out of my own journal and paste it over top for a fresh start, for a medium sized mistake I’ll just cover it with a sticker or some collage paper, and if it’s small I just draw over it with white gel pen :)
