You got through so much incredible wax this month. My bin is getting full and I need to sit down and do the same, I’ve really been getting through my vendor Wax and it feels so good (more room for candles haha). Thanks for sharing Katie!

Great video, Katie. I love empties videos. Sheesh....HomeWorx did, indeed, have a rough 2022. I certainly experienced overall poor performance from them, and I've decided to not purchase from them for a while. It is very difficult, with the new releases on QVC this week, but I just can't keep throwing money down the drain and being disappointed by them. Kringle is checking all of the boxes for me right now, and I look forward to buying a lot from them this spring and summer. Have a blessed day! 😊
I’m honestly in the same boat as you when it comes to Homeworx. Kringle is killing it IMO with their new stuff & their wax formula. I’d rather spend my money on a known commodity.
I think it was 2 years ago. I remembered seeing it in my store. 🤔 Either way, the Limoncello Cupcake burned terribly for me, but I honestly attribute that to the pour date.
@@katiesjoyfullife Interesting! Some scents come and go in so quickly it's hard to keep track😄 I haven't tried Kringle but I hear the soy formula is overall better than the paraffin ones.
The second one unfortunately did the same thing. It had even WORSE pooling out issues😩. Hopefully you get a pour date from after September as those seem to be doing better.

I think you're referring to the Iced Lemon Pound Cake candle at BBW, which is interesting because I love, love Limoncello Cupcake by Homeworx but that ILPC candle at BBW smelled so sour to me. I was so disappointed because I was so hyped up about it. I ended up returning my backups and a lady pounced on them in store! It was so popular with most, but not to my nose.😪😪 I had the same sour note experience with BBW Sprinkled Birthday Cake. Did you like that one? I know ILPC is coming back, so I'll try it once more just in case I was victim to a bad batch...
I haven’t tried that BBW Birthday Cake scent. I feel like it wasn’t Iced Lemon Poundcake as I remember it having a distinct lemon cupcake in the packaging🤔 I could see a pound cake getting a sour note though. Oftentimes, candles with a buttery pound cake or shortbread accord come off sour to my nose (like Be Mine). You’re not alone!
@@katiesjoyfullife Ah, okay. I'm not sure which candle it would be then. I also have Lemon Cake Pop (which sadly I could NOT smell) and Lemon Lavender Shortbread (which I love!). I love a good lemon bakery so I was so sad not to like ILPC. 😪 I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets that sour note, but I do wish I wasn't one of the ones that gets it!! 😏

HW Limcello Cupcake sounds amazing! I don't remember a lemon cupcake scent from BBW but there is a Goose Creek candle called Limcello Cupcake.

@@MeetMsMarie honestly, it’s the best wax formula I’ve come across. I love that they have 3 wicks (same size as BBW) in that 100% soy
I had Winter in that same packaging and had the exact same experience. Bummer! It's usually a powerhouse, but it was weak.
I’m glad it wasn’t just me. It’s a classic scent but a shame it performed so poorly this year. 😒
