Yup... That's correct. The whole property is mind-blowing. I've been going there for decades. Had my wedding pics taken there long ago. When everything is in bloom, it's quiet a site. Well worth the visit.
Sorry, another one: Henry Clay Frick's house "Clayton" is in Pittsburgh (open to the public). The Long Island"Clayton" was purchased as a wedding present for his son Childs Frick.
One sobering thought: Despite the riches, despite the glorious displays of staggering wealth, despite the wanton desire to show ever more success, they got not one more breath nor heartbeat than the Divine deemed was warranted. As the lyric in my song Change offers: "...the value of money is learned on the deathbed..."
Love Long Island and visited Westbury Mansion a few times.
Thanks for watching!!

@@SierrasTravel Long Islands history in the growth of high tech (R&D)in the 50-70s is unmatched than any other place on earth..
Question 🙋♂️ since you’ve lived in the area. Have you seen one of these gilded age estates that has a large gate with a W on it?
My husband would love to do these beautiful places as a tattoo!
Huh? You mean have a mansion tattooed on his bum?
I love to live in one that always was my dream
And just think of all the sophisticated construction equipment that they didn’t have in the days these homes were built!
Thanks for watching!
Just wonderful, moved to fast!

You can hit the “pause” button.
I heard theres a Spanish villa out in the Hamptons, made by a builder from Massachusetts.
The second mansion is Coe (not Cole) Hall at Planting Fields

You don't mention that the falaise and the hempstead house are on the same property
Gatsby?

Hempstead house looks more like a castle than a house.
Too bad you didn't show much of the inside.
Thanks for watching. We’re hoping to visit each one soon.
@@SierrasTravel great idea!
Ok lets you are a millionaire so how much taxes you have to pay every year for just leaving in long island?
Taxes for $1million house on L.I. can be $25,000 t0 $35,000. There are some houses on L.I. worth over $30million.
What’s the song used in the background please?
It's called "Dream the World" by John Isaac
REMEMBER! INTELLIGENT PEOPLE KEEP THEIR EYES AND WORDS ON THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN JESUS CHRIST!!
Please allow me to introduce myself, I’m a man of wealth and taste...
Oh stop yelling. No one believes in your sky fairy and his zombie son.
Patently wrong. Because they do, you know. Tho not using your exact description.
these Mansions are paramount to Mar a Lago.
#1 is not really a Gold Coast Mansion. It is too far out on the Island and not on the North Shore.
LOL
