There's always the HBM Nuclear Tech mod, just build a Tsar Bomba and nuke the surrounding thousand blocks (few hundred chunks actually) Or... You could join the parasites, I'm not suggesting you should, but you could Cotesia Glomerata

On top of that, the infection's defenses against intrusion has increased, and there's even some spooky abandoned labs splattered around the place, filled with dangerous infecteds and juicy lost tech ;] If ya feel like giving the mod another play through, it'll be greatly appreachated~ Another minor update's about to drop, adding the usurper organoid. (P.S. we've removed the biomancy compat due to it breaking a hell of a lot, so maybe you'll actually be able to construct some infected armaments!)

For example, if a tank fired its machinegun first, and then used its main cannon, it'd be an instant kill because the parasite would grow immunity to the machinegun, but be completely vulnerable to the main cannon. However, if the main cannon fired first, it'd become immune to the main cannon, and then be too strong for the machinegun. So in other words, you either need powerful one-shot weapons, or soften it up with different weapons before the final blow. I'm not even convinced fire is the exception to the adaptation mechanic, and in fact probably leaves you worse off because then you're getting lit on fire by parasite melee attacks.
Parasites don't light you up on fire, fire + shooting at them is best way to kill parasites, since it heavily delays adaptation, which allows you to kill them with multiple other weapons, and deals high dmg (parasites take 4x damage from fire)
For guns I suggest you the Vic's Modern Warfare Mod (or Modern Warfare Cubed, they're both the same mod but this is a fork with some bug fixes). The guns will help you by a lot when fighting the parasites, plus all guns and armor can be crafted in survival.
Check out the weapon master mod. It adds special weapons that level up and get abilities the more you use the them, i think that mod could work well with parasites

5:50 It makes sense why the RPG only is made for AT purposes. The RPG-7 you were using uses a HEAT-FS projectile. High.Explosive.Anti.Tank Fin Stabilized. yes a direct hit to something would definitely harm said thing but. a HEAT warhead being a chemical warhead with a secondary charge wouldent. how the HEAT warhead works is that once its fired and comes into contact with something hard enough it causes a second detonation within the round. that second detonation then super heats gas and copper shards making a superheated stream and melting armor being very deadly. Chemical penetrators dont need Pure velocity to harm target and rather explode or do that on impact. unlike AP APHE APHEBC and so on and so forth. if you were to use the RPG-7 for non AT purposes you would need a pure HE High.Explosive Warhead or Shrapnel instead of a HEAT-FS. sorry for the nerdy wall of text but here is your answer. :D
Hey, i also made a parasite modpack time ago. Only problem was that it was so hard that i spent dozens of hours restarting the world before reaching day 80 :/
SRP is fun in early stages. But becomes too unbalanced and unfair. Even with guns and shit it’s honestly just a 100 days challenge . No goal. And beating the ender dragon is impossible cause getting to the stronghold is impossible in stage 7-8.
