Long time viewer. Rarely posting. Just wanted to say that it is nice to see you happier. I might even dare to say that it even shows in your photographs, as they are even more beautiful than ever. Bravo. Sophie seems perfect for what you do, and you guys make a great pair. A page has turned. Can't wait to see the next chapter.
I'm really glad you have teamed up with Sophia. It adds a subtle change to your videos that make them more fun to watch. And I believe she has altered the way you look at your photography.
I have to say that the last shot at your sunrise location was definitely a breath-taking moment that you managed to capture! The little waterfall coming over the rock definitely elevates it to a whole different level! Great job!
Alex! Absolutely epic images! You have made me want to go back to Torres del Paine in a big way. So glad to see your channel doing so well. Keep it up! And if you ever get up to the PNW let’s go shoot and make a video!
You sure captured some great images, great light, clouds and the waves really added some movement to normally a still reflective shot. Nice work and great video 👍😎
Good morning Alex & Sophie 🌈Your dedication to your work is crazy! But so worth it! Those photos are spectacular. Sophie is a real trooper too. I'd be huddled in my van with a warm drink. 😄
Beautiful photos Alex, congratulations on the addition to your portfolio. They were all fantastic but my fav was the first photo in the video of the dead tree ❤ What about a small portable diesel heater for the car? I saw one not long ago and at $600 Australian I thought it was quite expensive, but I don't live in my bus. If I did, I would have one in a heartbeat. Sophia is a trooper in those conditions and appears naturally comfortable in front of the camera...she's a keeper mate 👍
Great video and stunning images! Was your epic sunrise by any chance on April 7? If so, I was further back at the cascades by the Explora hotel. The light was amazing!
Wow. 13, 14, 16, and 17 are spectacular sir. Well done. I wonder if the prohibition has anything to do with T. Heaton. He took an image of a dead tree and then a couple years later there was a path to that tree.
Not a fan of the monochrome but every shot of yours looked great. In fact all your images looked amazing. Thanks for sticking it out in crazy winds. Also you two make a good team. Good video.
Ah, yes, we got some epic light down there at the same time. Congrats on that shot at 14:00 or so -- that was some of the best light I have seen in a long time with the clouds refracting it around to the other side of the peaks--very unusual! We also got blown down a few days earlier in those 100+ kmh winds--we almost got blown off the cliff at Hosteria Pehoe into the lake. Fun times down there for sure.
hey buddy .. just to to be fair .. those are not the " TORRES". those are the " CUERNOS DEL PAINE". .( HORNS). torres are even more breathtaking ... hope you got the chance to see them ...

While I am definitely happy, I think Patagonia might just the reason for the beautiful photos haha. Sophia is perfect.

Im lucky to have her :)

Love how Sophie has joined you! You seem so good together. And fantastic photography of course!
Just wonderful! The payoff was truly worth the effort for that little waterfall shot! I never got to the waters edge, next time 👍
Cheers!
Thanks Neil!

The log looking like a snake is amazing, the light at 11:16 perfect 👌, so are the photographs you could take. Guys what a beautiful mood at 16:43 😍
Thank you!

With these conditions, you just have to love what you do. The results aren't bad either.
Thanks John!
Great pics. Alex, my favorite is the one with the small waterfall!!

Brutal conditions - but some amazing photos! Well done!

Can't exactly fly with a diesel heater :P AND YES SHE IS
Great video Alex. I’ve said it for decades. Bad weather, great photos!! Love your videos. 😊
Thanks Peter :)

I suspect it was? I would need to check!
WOW. Beautiful photos Alex!
Many thanks!

No idea. But they (the locals) were very adamant about it.
Cool video and set of images, Alex. I prefer the color version of the last image. In B&W the stick gets lost in the water. Cheers!
I included both for that reason! Thanks John
Those images are truly amazing!
Thank you buddy
Love the photos you got in this video Alex. Does Spphia also photograph or is she just enjoying the experience?
She doesn't but enjoys the places and experience. Maybe some day!
Lovely images and video, super, take care and subbed too.
Thanks, you too!
Man, I need to get to Patagonia. Some of your best work, incredible images!
Thanks Richard

I actually think one of your workshop participants is sitting on the ledge during those windy lake conditions
@@AlexArmitage Indeed, I think there were a few over there that didn't want to brave the crazy winds up top.
wow! what a Beautiful photographs.
Many thanks!
