IN MAY I WILL BE GOING UP TO THE STATE OF MONTANA AND I AM EXCITED TO DO SOME WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY AND SOME LANDSCAPES!!!! THE PART OF MONTANA WHERE I AM GOING IS SO SCENIC AND SO DIFFERENT FROM THE DRY COUNTRY HERE IN SO CAL!!! I AM LEARNING FROM YOUR VIDEOS AND YOU MAKE IT QUITE FUN AND INTERESTING!!!!!!! IT IS EASY TO SEE YOUR PASSION FOR THIS!!! HAVE A GREAT DAY, HENRY AND KEEP MAKING THESE VIDEOS!!!
Hi Henry, what a great video and you got some amazing photographs. I love especially that one at ~15:49. Such a great composition and also the mood is just awesome. Well done 😉 Nice greetings, Christian
While many photographers wouldn't think of going out in those conditions, once again you show just how brilliant it can be.. your photos are superb, showing the misty moody fells and crags. Great video. Many thanks and best wishes.
Fantastic photos, for me it is a better picture if i can see some more from the Landsacpe, than only another waterfall without any further landscape. Great work, as ever. Greats from Germany
Loved this - seeing that amount of low cloud when setting off would probably make me think it’s not worth going - but you proved how quickly things can change and that it’s ALWAYS worth it! 👍
Lovely images Henry! You spoke about being lucky, well I say that you make you own luck and by the virtue of you being up there yoiu absolutely deserve every ounce of it. Nice Hat!
"Snapshot territory" is is a good overall description of an OK photo vs a potential keeper. However what you consider a snapshot could be a keeper for some of us. Well done!
Looked like a nice steady chilled day out with camera there Henry. Enjoyed the journey and always like how easy you make it all look in taking quality photos, certainly not "snapshots" in my eyes. Henry Turner trademark skies once again as mentioned earlier.
Great to see you out hiking again. Is there a Footpath app for android as i don't have a i phone?. There was some really interesting parts to photograph on the hike. You captured some really fantastic Image's. Love your enthusiasm as always. I will definitely be signing up for your newsletter. Look forward to the next one.
Hi Henry, another grand day out and thanks for sharing .... yeah, you were right ... one or two of those were pretty reasonable ( understatement ), you crack me up sometimes!
Hi Henry, nice to see you enjoying that hike! You've certainly had quite a variety of weather conditions over your past few vlogs, it's been interesting to see how you've managed to get the shots in every case. Thanks for sharing!
Stiles are a pain, especially the many stepped ladder stiles. Dangerous for dogs and oaps trying to lift them over. Even worse when some are in poor repair with steps missing.
Really enjoyable video Henry, love the hiking and finding shots along the way. You always get something different and usually unique. From your vids over the last few months i think you’d really enjoy the SW of Ireland. Lots of off piste 😉
Great views , very atmospheric ( literally ! ) I really liked the photo at 6.50 on the video , you called it more of a "snapshot" .... I wish my keepers were on the same level as your snapshots... I'd be well happy 😊
Some days are just low cloud days Henry, didn’t stop you having a good hike. Some beautiful spots for photography as you say. Just need those right conditions. Unless I’ve lost count, that’s 60/214
Good work Henry. Always enjoy your process. Keep in mind with new followers they may not understand why, for instance, you might avoid ISO 800. Keep up the good work. Mark from Australia.
Another awesome video Henry!!! thanks for the inspiration. I loved that dual water fall and the shots you got there. I would have tried a low shot with the drone but your shots were intense as well.
Great tour today Henry, the shots today are fantastic, your always make it look so easy. Should you ever consider coming to the US for teaching some work, sign me in for a day in the White Mountains of NH.Thanks as always
Great video Henry 👏🏻 …and thank you for not referring to your audience as ‘guys’ 😄👍🏻 Also proves that you don’t need the latest gear to get brilliant photos!
@@HenryTurnerphoto Yay! Looking forward to seeing you out with it again. I'm also curious to see how you feel about the 4/3 sensor after a year or so of using it and printing the photos. Cheers mate from Tasmania
Ah sorry mate. It is the one with a white icon and a blue coloured sort of footprint. Perhaps this link will work: apps.apple.com/gb/app/footpath-route-planner/id634845718
Henry, always at least one nugget of gold in every video - milky water in the falls to avoid the texture overload, brilliant!

Beauty in a less than lovely time of year. Well done!

Nice greetings,

To really appreciate texture it’s always worth trying B&W processes.
The second shot of the waterfall worked way better than the first. Goes to show that it pays off to hang around and explore several compositions.

Such a lovely snowfree landscape and pictures ♥️ in my part of the world we still got about 50-60 cm of snow 😂 long wait to spring...
No dramatic selfie on the "bad step" then. It just captures the atmosphere of the lakes fells so well. Thank you
Moody, serene, and spectacular! 😎

Great images there Henry and those signature moody skies once again encapsulated the conditions perfectly.
Definitely his trade mark those dark atmospheric cloudy skies for me.
Many thanks
Beautiful images... what a great atmosphere! Always enjoy "hiking" with you from my desk chair! Trek on Henry.

Lovely images Henry. I love being in the hills on days like that, very quiet, and very peaceful. Just as long as I can see to navigate!

Always fun to watch. Amazing conditions and beautiful shots. Well done Henry
Great video Henry...very interesting & unusual location with great pics... weather looks cool (40c here).... cheers from Australia 🦘🦘😊
Great stuff Henry, those little tarns with Blisco in the background 👌 - fantastic shots all round 👍
Nice moody images! And nice to see how a different composition can completely change an image, like you did in the beginning of the video!
Stiles are a pain, especially the many stepped ladder stiles. Dangerous for dogs and oaps trying to lift them over. Even worse when some are in poor repair with steps missing.
Nice hike Henry and gorgeous take home photos. Cheers mate!

Great work Henry, well done for sticking around that waterfall, both images were great, 2nd definite fave out of the 2
Thanks 👍

Excellent adventure with some amazing images! Thanks for taking me along!
Hi Henry will you be using the OM-5 again? You seemed so enthusiastic about how it changed your photography. Was it repairable?
Yes, I have recently got it back!!
Another top drawer adventure with some fantastic images. Wish I was 30 years younger and hiking with you!
Another great video Henry really enjoyed it. I will be signing up to your newsletter as of now. Danny
Thanks Danny. And that is brill mate I hope you enjoy the updates and chats

Great adventure, shots Henry. Love your videos.
Some nice images even in not so great conditions
So, so beautiful! Do you have problems finding your way down the hills when it's so foggy and/or getting dark?
Not usually 👍🏼👍🏼. I have a good head torch
Fantastic video Henry, loved seeing the fells from a slightly different perspective in that you made your own route up, the images were excellent
A very atmospheric video Henry with some beautiful photos 😊
Great wide angle use Henry!!!
Another awesome video Henry!!! thanks for the inspiration. I loved that dual water fall and the shots you got there. I would have tried a low shot with the drone but your shots were intense as well.
Thanks Henry! Great video and beautiful images!!
The added beauty of hiking away from paths in the mountains is that you notice your surroundings more. I hate following trails 😊

You made me cold just watching this video 😂 that wind at the summit with the fog... Nice video Henry Boy. Just signed for your newsletter 😊

All I can say Henry is absolutely beautiful
And my maximum ISO is 800
I personally will not go past that
This has probably been answered many times and if so I apologize but what service do you use when for your prints?
Nice images Henry, I’d see if some of them look better as b&w’s, 19:12 could work
Awesome video Henry! My kind of wild place :-)
Am enjoying the newsletters Henry.
News on the Olympus? Is it coming back, or dead?
I was wondering too, is it coming back, especially for the hiking?
I’ve got it back now!

That looks like a Wainwright to revisit on a clearer day, but great video nonetheless.
Another great video Henry. Out of curiosity what tripod mount do you use for your pocket 3?
Thanks mate. Just a normal arca Swiss plate but I’d like to sort out something a bit better!!
@@HenryTurnerphotoyeah that’s what I use but you make it look so seemless! 👏
Great video, would love to take a trip to the lakes. Could you let us know the name of the app you use for routes please
Hi mate it’s called ‘footpath’
Will take a look as like you say the OS is so slow.
Nice shots, mate
Another great one Henry :)
Av had a look for the app footpath there are a couple of them which one is it?
Ah sorry mate. It is the one with a white icon and a blue coloured sort of footprint. Perhaps this link will work: apps.apple.com/gb/app/footpath-route-planner/id634845718
