I started reading manga read upto this episode and realise this was a mistake, something so emotional only deserved to be consumed as an anime, i couldn't make myself to read further.

The death hit me in the gut, but that afterlife scene broke me.

It was just one emotional hit after another :(
(Important!) Just wanted to mention,Parona was carrying March's body at the end.If you remember from the previous episodes the trip from Yanome to Ninannah (March village) was around 30 days.During the journey home,March's body started decomposing and got smaller and smaller.
This is so dark and makes it somehow even more sad :'( The fact that Parona carried on to her the entire journey..

This episode and the first episode have successfully managed to destroy my heart. I cried along with you Mai. Also right at the end I'm not sure if you noticed it but he did indeed turn into March. Solidifying the fact that he had further grown more human.

6:05 Remember she asked March for hairs when they where both imprisioned? And March took some old and falling hairs of the wolf and gave them to Parona? Parona knew March wouldn´t agree with the bear plan so she decided to make that toy way before she started with the plan!

It was really hard to watch, but I made it. It took a bit longer than I expected, but I did it.
After seeing the Orb transforming into March, it got me curious how the wolf is the only transformation who is not injured. Fushi's still has his leg bandage, Oniguma's is still full of arrows and March's has the arrow wound. I wonder why they won't heal.

Was the wolf not injured when he transformed? I can't remember. Maybe it just healed really quickly whereas with the others they have physical objects on/in them like the arrows and a bandage. Maybe in the boy's form he is healed but he just doesn't know to take the bandage off
@@OtakuMai Yeah, when Fushi transforms into the wolf/nameless boy he had the wound then it healed quickly and about the bandage,yeah Fushi just doesn't know how/why to take it off.Same with March,Fushi copy March wound.
@@NKong95 Fushi transformation into Oniguma still full of arrow because Fushi receive the bear stimulation when the bear still have the arrow on his body (while they are fighting during episode 3) then the bear dead in episode 4 so Fushi receive the vessel (body) in episode 4 but Fushi doesn't feel there is a need to transform into Oniguma in episode 4 so he doesn't transform.Sorry for the long ass explaination😂.

Everything that stimulates him is essentially etched into him I guess, so at the end when it said that he didn’t lose her he started a journey with her, he remembered how he had eaten the fruit before and transformed into March to climb the tree and get the fruit. Then he walks away as her. This episode really fucked me up 😭
Omg the way that she has become an important part of who he is. I don't know if I'll be happy to see him take on her form or if it'll just hurt 😭

@@OtakuMai Sorry, I can't explain in more detail or it will be a spoiler😅.If you notice,the nameless boy accept the happy afterlife (ep1) ,but march not accept it because there's no Fushi in the afterlife.Then March went running towards Fushi and then Oniguma came.

I have seen both Your Name and A Silent Voice. Your Name is my favourite anime movie of all time I have seen it so many times, love it! And A Silent Voice is sooo good too! I haven't seen Grave of the Fireflies but have heard great things and that it's really sad. I'm not thinking about doing full length movie reactions though because they're a bit too long, at least for now. Sorry
