    Thank you so much for this video. We need shine more light on these themes in particular. The shame and pain one feels is so suffocating and lonely.
    I’m so glad you have found healing. I’m just about there. I never thought it was possible. I’m grateful to still be here and enjoying life. Tough days still happen, but I now know those days pass and I can manage it better.
    All the best to you.

      Thank you, Delia. I’m glad I can share my story as I wish I had heard from others back when I was really struggling, unfortunately I had no idea what ocd was and that I had so the loneliest feeling possible! I’m glad to hear from you and hope that you’re keeping well x

    Great content Jade! It worries me to be a mom one day because my ocd creates such a weird thoughts around kids

      Ps don’t let ocd stop you becoming a parent if that’s what you want but I advise working on recovery in the lead up as I was in a very dark place when I had my baby. You’re already way ahead of me as I didn’t know i had ocd until just before she was born

    I'm really interested in this, do you have the link to your other video. What you explained is so close to my experience, harm ocd around my child and core fear of being sent to prison and taken away from my family. I've only just realised that's what it is so want help working on this further. Thanks 😊

    Did you get false memories with these themes? I have some pretty horrific ones and it's interfering with my life a lot.

    • @delia5588
      @delia5588 Год назад +4

      Jose, that was very much how my deep spiral went a few years back… false memories mixed with POCD and HOCD. I had always experienced varying themes of OCD but it was manageable and didn’t consume my every day.
      I’m so sorry you are struggling. Are you seeing someone to help you with this? I did for a short time… but ultimately my own research/books/support groups helped me immensely.

    This channel never talks about techniques. Hearing stories or looking to relate is not the point. Skills, how to identify and apply
