I’d put a light coat of superglue on it. Was considering doing that to mine for a while. I also bent the clips in tighter for a better bite onto the cap.

No leakage from the top that I’ve ever experienced. Basically as long as you don’t cut into the clear bubble section at the top, it’s all good.
Ah, I was hoping you had a hack for the clip. The clip always falls off, that's why I don't carry one anymore.

I drilled a hole on the end of mine and put it on a jump ring
can you take out the spring? mine seems stuck or is it normal?
You kinda want that spring to stay there. It forces the cartridge to align properly and ensures a better fit.
