I've been carrying a Fischer space pen for years... I have several. I keep one in my car, one in my go bag, and a silver one in my EDC. I also have a backup if I lose my silver EDC one. I use it EVERY day. It is near flawless... I had one ink cartridge failed (skipped when writing). I get compliments at work and always hear, "what a nice pen" if I sign something at a store or office. I use this pen as I used a write in the rain pen when I was in uniform and this was the natural evolution. It is a superior pen that is perfect for EDC.
Thank you! It was nice to meet you at Shot Show 2023. I am so pleased you did this review on Fisher Space Pen, as I know its simply the best pen in this World, and out of it!!!! But of course, I am bias since I work there. The Cerakote partnership really places Fisher Space Pen in a category on its own. Fantastic video!!
I've always liked how the Fisher refills lay down ink and usually buy the bold point for my Fisher AG7 Astronaut Pen. I also use Fisher refills in pens that accept the Parker refill; each Fisher refill includes an adapter. Regarding Rite in the Rain paper, its own pressurized refills work better than Fisher's. I think Fisher manufactures RITR's refills using an ink more precisely matched to RITR paper.
The Fisher Telescoping Space pen rules. It's similar to the Bullet (the one you're using) but in ONE piece so there's no chance of losing the top or bottom. I have about 5 different styles of Fisher pens for different situations but I always have the Telescoping one in my pocket. Fisher for the Win.
Writes on almost anything, the perfect EDC pen, fits in my knife pouch so always on my belt. Far more practically than a tactical pen. 😎 Love Battle box videos, shame we cant buy them in the UK 🇬🇧
You can buy fisher space pens in the UK. Amazon sell them, Heinnie Haynes sell them. I carry a raw brass every day and almost cried when I thought I'd lost it the other day.
I've had a Fisher space pen many years now and it has survived three years in the Army Infantry, five years of college and countless weekends in the out-of-doors and it has never failed to write. I found that the fine line refill lasts longer than the medium and has a smoother line.
I definitely want to try one, never heard of them. Honestly thought at least one person would have made a Seinfeld comment on this about the pen that would write upside down. Guess I’m that one person now lol. Love your channel!
I first found out about the Fisher space pen when I purchased my modern fuel 2.0 pen pencil set. So I Fisher space pen refills for my other regular pens and put them out throughout the house so always have one to write with
14:20 I tried 7 Fisher refills during my review on paper after lard, cooking oil, gun oil and it did not work. I tried on both regular paper, RiteInTheRain copy paper, synthetic waterproof papers from TerraSlate and others. Also tried RiteInTheRain's ink, nope no luck. What is that grease you used?
Whats more important to me is that this ink is smearable. Others cheap inks are not. So what lasts u longer? A pen that writes underwater but gets wiped off paper when the paper is in use a lot. Or a permanent cheap pen that lasts forever on paper. I mean if u live underwater it might be different.. But in our world i rather use permanent ink that stays where it is
You realize you can use the refills in your Atomic Bear pen body? That is what I use. I do have a bullet, but I use it as a pocket pen when I can't get past a security point with a tac pen.
I’m not a pen guy. However, I’m a pen gal! 😂 Great review. Would have liked to have seen the write in the rain pen in the comparison. Love your vidyas.
I remember when these came on the market. There was a running joke to the tune of "NASA spent 6 million dollars to develop a pen that could write in outer space, the Russians just use a pencil ✏️".
@@CRANEREVIEWS I know that the blue ink for certain will wash off regular paper with saliva. I got an email reply from them finally and they claimed it was safe for checks! Ha! I wouldn't trust it.
I think the Fisher Space pen Ink is terrible. The look & or Quality of the pens themselves are nice. it’s just the ink. Then people get (like myself) get caught up in Fisher pens being the best cause you can Write on water, oil, upside down, etc. How often do writers actually do that type of writing? Most pen users write on clean paper. Period! I picked up a refill to add to my Zebra pen & I wasn’t Impressed. The ink at times skips as I write & ink isn’t as dark compared to other inks of the same style. The ink in my Parker is almost like the Fisher. Right out of package. The ink (ballpoint) in my Zebra is darker & doesn’t skip. The ink in the cheap Bic’s I have are dark & don’t skip. I Returned the Fisher ink for a new 1 & it didn’t skip at 1st but then did again. I know ball points based on tip size & cause they’re ball point don’t deliver really dark ink, but the level of dark I get from Zebra or Bic is what I like. Med point Bic: Smooth, good level of dark ink. Zebra .8 Fine point smooth, good level of dark ink. Fisher .9 Fine point: Skips & poor level of dark ink.
I have wrote 2 Fisher refills from brand new till it stopped writing on video for my review and never had skipping issues, only close to death one of the pens was a tad inconsistent for a short period of time, but after writting circles it was back to normal.
I used them during my time in the military. Loved that you could write with it in the rain
I own one. It's a great little pen! Love the compact size and the fact that it'll just write anywhere and in any conditions! Definitely in the bag.

I have one, and it writes under any condition, even in extreme hot and cold situations, and everything you show in the video.
I like the fact that certain space pen refills work in a Parker Jotter retractable pen body.

This vid was unbelievably satisfying thank you!

Love my fisher pace pens. I own 3. A silver bullet and two limited edition patriotic starts and stripes.
Gel pens can’t be compared to ball point as an apples to apples comparison. Thoroughly enjoyed this test and review

Does this ink wash off of checks. Banks would like to know!
I emailed Fisher several months ago asking them the same question. I'm still waiting for a response from them.

False! LOL. The Russians buy Fisher Space Pens since 1969. Pencils contain lead and graphite and are combustible.
Pls not in the next battlbox
