@@gcn just watched the caffeine tour. It wasn't great to see you all suffering but very interesting. Think you need Manon to permanently chaperone you guys!

Seeing how Ollie improved a lot from being dropped to being the dropper, I want to see a video of Ollie (on a TT bike) vs ex-pros (Si, Alex, Connor, and Hank).
I have to say that these type of videos have to be my favourite. I love the interaction between all the presenters. It makes everyone's personality shine through.
Yeah, the camaraderie that they share and their love for cycling really makes these vids fun and comical. Manon's giggle at "cock road" gave me quite the chuckle too!
Late to the game on catching this vid, but I have to say I don't care that much about the road vs. gravel part. That said I loved seeing the whole crew riding together. Could we have more of that please?
These are the most inspirational kind of videos, just a bunch of friends riding their bikes and having fun. That's really what it's all about, isn't it? Loved everything about this!
I’ve been a GCN fan from the beginning. Wow, the quality of the shots and editing has improved so much over time. In the world of constant content I’ve come to expect and accept mediocrity but this was a really good piece in so many ways. Chapeau!
What a pleasure to watch. Makes me want to go out for a ride instantly. Interesting results on the segments and interesting ideas. Can‘t wait for Si on a TT bike vs. hippo
This is an equivalent of Top Gear / Grand Tour version for biking. The great cinematography, the epic sceneries, the historical stories of the landscape, and the great biking fun all bundle into one. Awesome video!
In Defense of Hank. Those of us who commute up in the frozen North and need studded tires 3 months of the year have learned to run a studded front tire and regular rear tire. Why add the additional resistance to the rear where it isn’t as important? If the front washes out you make an impromptu snow angle, if the rear washes out you just look cool and make the highlight real.
This was spectacular. Great scenery, a little bit of history, the camaraderie of most of the GCN presenters on display, and an epic fun ride. It's videos like this that make me wish I could just move to Bath and apply to work at GCN.
Gravel is amazing! I built my gravel bike last month and have put hundreds of miles of gravel and off-road unpaved trails on it. Just yesterday I rode an 82 mile loop through mostly unpaved trails on the bike with a friend, it was a great day! Glad you guys had fun! It was great to watch you guys.
These group ride videos are always brilliant. It is bang on target for a huge number of us who ride in groups and part of the whole experience of cycling. We love the companionship and experience of riding in a group with everyone’s different styles and strengths, with the inevitable banter and micro competitions of course!
That was so like the morning ride I had with mates on Thursday! The mate who planned the route decided to omit the details. The rest of us showed up on proper road bikes of a certain, pre-disc brake vintage. He took us on a steep, rough, muddy epic on his lovely new gravel bike! I’m not sure ‘enjoyed’ was the words we’d use. Survived would be more apt! 😂
Kinda funny now how Ollie has essentially trained so long and consistently vs the rest of the crew that they are essentially relegated to being a peloton of his domestics
@@gcn there has to be a satirical documentary style long form video done about that with Si doing a poem about an underdog and then black and white old footage of him being dropped then becoming the dropper!
