That does look great fun. I’ve got a completely stock comet will try and get down at some point. Do you use the more powerful ravine batterys then and just swap the connectors to deans? Guessing you can charge them quicker too as mine take around 2.5 hours to charge!

      Yes
We use quicker chargers so get to charge between races

Any idea how many racers were using the box standard transmitters and electrics?
I have two comets and when run together they get slight interference with each other... I switch on one transmitter then the car so they bind then the same with the second and they still interfere slightly. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Most have changed but I still run box stock when I’m there with no problem

      @@PopalongRC thanks very much.
I wondered if its because I had two purchased at the same time the htz signal might be too close.
I might sell one on and but somthing else similar. They are great for learning.

Main reason ftx comet's are used is to keep it cheap and simple! more accessible to everyday people, you can be fully race ready for less than £100, mini z buggys seem to be around the £200 mark.

The Mini z is defo a little bit pricey for what you get but they would make the track fell massive

Always surprised that the min T and B aren't more popular for racing in this country where small scale tracks are easier to set up space wise
