You should watch AppJack and Retals “2 pros 1 keyboard” series where their trying to get as high as they can with both playing with the same KMB. Maybe you’ve already seen it but yeah it’s actually so difficult but fun to watch

I don't think leth interpreted the challenge correctly, as at 22:39 he said something about it not being that bad because he doesn't use air roll left or right. The challenge was to bind all 3 functions (boost, air roll left, and powerslide) to the button you use to boost. That has nothing to do with if you use air roll left or not, you do now!
i think for the one has to stay still game, the strat would have been better to switch just so the player on the opposite field could come like half back and then switch again. having to go full down field was way too much.

I have often thought about a game mode in which players are all different ranks, but higher ranks are handicapped based on the difference to your opponents. It's interesting to see what mechanical disadvantages make for competitive games against which ranks. They could def incorporate this into RL as a casual and/or limited time mode.
