Clear explanation, Frank. Love the fit and the ease of knitting in the round. It is wonderful too to be able to use the yarn and needles I want to make the sweater the way I want it to fit.Thanks.

Thank-you. This may be the push I was looking for to begin the masters program. I look forward to knitting this sweater.

Hi - I've just entered the measurements for a sweater for my husband and the material requirement says 4 skeins (estimated for 1463 sq inches). My yarn comes in balls of 100 gms so I know it is going to be more that 4 of those balls but I can't see how to find out how much yarn I need. As I understand it a skein just describes the winding method not the length of yarn. On you demo it says what the yardage is but I can't see that on my pattern. I ended up paying for the pattern in the hope that it would show the yardage, but I can't see it - and now I have a pattern which might not be right once I have bought the yarn and knitted a swatch. Firstly how can I find the amount of yarn I need and secondly will I be able to redo the pattern once I have done my sample swatch please? Thank you Mary
