Great video! The plastic piece was broken for me also, just like you showed in the video! Got a new one from Autozone, plugged it right in and I am good to go! Thanks so much!
I have to say, the best video out here for repairing such a silly thing! The main part that was missing with all the others was, how to remove the panel!! I dont want to rip it off like an 800 lb gorilla! i'd like to reuse it and put it back! Thank you Mr. Lehew!
Hey do you know if this switch is also the cruise control kick out switch as the parts stores show a part description for a cruise control cut out switch not described as a combination switch?
Just happened to me right before hurricane Ian.... by the way that whitish plastic stopper broke- there is a hole that the switch will fit through.... thanks Honda for just not making it solid..... anyway, I happened to have a plastic drywall anchor that fit right in the hole, and then adjusted the switch a little closer. Thought I would share with others.
i was looking around, and didn't see anything. Found this video and instantly saw only 1/2 a bushing up there. As i was packing things up for the night, saw the missing piece on the floorboard :)
great video!...is there a brake light relay that controls the brake light fuse??my tail lights are working, the fuses are good...brake light switch is good but no brake lights when i depress the brakes plz help...thanks
Thank you for the video it was very helpful. I have a 2010 Honda fit the passenger brake light I replaced and it comes on but when I put the break it does not work any idea what he could be thank you
Make sure you purchase a (2) way bulb for high and low beams. I had a similar issue, did a full scan and found out the customer installed incorrect light bulbs. If that’s not the issue it might be your high beam light switch not working correctly.

Pro tip, until you can fix the issue, the fuse is called "horn/stop" not what i was looking for, spent 30mins pulling fuses :D
