I agree about the pot holders being a great gift. I make lots of them myself. Mine are a bit different but I'm going to give these long ones a shot soon. I happen to be a quilter so I have LOTS of diff. fabrics in my stash so I make a big variety. I actually spent a day and did nothing but cut out kits for sets of two pot holders so when I want to make some I just pick and sew. I just watched your seed starting vids too and going to get mine started soon. I love your channel. Lots of fun things that crafty people like. Carry on!

Just did my first one. I think the next time I will make it even longer, as it seems a little short to me. I used really wide bias tape, and think I would do that again too. Thank you for the video and instructions, it was very easy to follow.

could i use two layers of batting rather than insulbrite?
It really depends on how thick the batting is. You don’t want burnt hands. You could put a piece of denim in between also for extra protection.
