    I'm a later comer to the use of Obsedian.. or any type of these tools for this matter. And I have now racked up 100s of hours learning it. The reason that i am adding to the comment is to call out that you have a nice style in the way you explain features; i.e. not only you explain how they work, but also if/how you actually use them or if you don't. Thank you.

    Hi Santi,
    I'm trying to do the same thing, but using bookmarked blocks instead.
    This would allow me to give titles to the blocks and also order them in folders.
    The only problem I am having is that I can't find a way to easily create a link to a bookmark. If I drag and drop a bookmark into a note, the link refers to the NOTE the bookmark refers to but not to the actual block.
    Do you have any idea how to work around that?
    (I hope I explained my idea clearly enough)

    Do I want to pay for a 'course' from you? On the basis of this vid, no. You need to work on your presentation and script writing before you can be a 'teacher'.
    Every mouse move and click needs to be purposeful. This vid looks like you're winging it.
    And you have to remember what it was like not to know, so slow down describing key words, keypresses, etc. Add the info as a graphic in post.
    Don't make your students struggle with the vid having to replay or pause or change the playback speed up or down.

  • @rickywheels3661
    @rickywheels3661 2 года назад

    Hello, can someone please help me? I have a unique use case where I am trying to organize many cross-reffernces in a hour long talk I am trying to give, where there are many call back to previous comments, some get reminded 3,4,5,even 8 times as it goes, and I am trying to use Obsidian to make it easier, but not sure exactly how to go about using its features optimally.
    Example: lets say I am 45 mins into my talk, and it's time to remind the audience of particular points made earlier that really round out and send home the bigger point, I dont want to just copy, copy,copy the same blurbs, because then it gets messy. I want to be able to see at a glance, EXACT blocks (paragraphs) from prior moments all in one page.
    Not sure I am gauging the value of tags vs links vs block links or how to use blocks links to compliment what my intention is. By the end of the talk, there will be something like over 50 cross-reffernces all tied together in one impressive knot. What do you think would be the best way to achieve this? Thank you

    • @SantiYounger
      @SantiYounger  2 года назад

      Hey, I get you. I do think this block reference feature in Obsidian would work for that case. But to be honest they are not as easy to use as other apps. For this particular case I highly recommend Logseq or Roam. There you can click `alt/option` drag the block you need to reference into a new section. And it works great that way
      Hope that helps
