- Can I beat Pokémon Violet with Hardcore Nuzlocke rules - using ONLY NEW STEEL type pokemon? (No items, No overleveling, Set mode)
HARDCORE NUZLOCKE RULES:
1. Only one STEEL type Pokemon per area
2. If a Pokemon faints it must be boxed
3. I cannot overlevel beyond the Gym leaders ace
4. No items in battle (held items are okay)
5. No duplicate species can be caught
6. Must nickname Pokemon

Finally someone took my advice and did a steel type monolocke.
12:25 all sound based moves hit through substitute, including hyper voice or torch song/ other attacking moves
Yeah I had to look it up afterwards hahaha! But was definitely shocked at the time

@@MichaelTikTak Her base attack is 75. That is absolutely unusable without a swords dance and you are not setting up with her. Absolutely no way. I get why they wanted to balance her but they gone overboard. A shame really.
Yeah I think because of gigaton hammer they went too careful. Still a fun Pokemon in a casual playthrough at least

I recently did my first Mono type run in my favorite Pokémon game, Pokémon Y, and I completed it using only flying types, it was actually pretty fun😁

Revavroom is my favorite steel type this generation. I always wanted to see a car pokemon done right and they did it!

@Michael TikTak Yes I love Revavroom! I love the Steel/Poison typing and that Pokémon is a beast plus I love the fact that you nicknamed your Varoom Vin Diesel because he's one of my favorite actors and Fast and Furious is my favorite movie franchise ever!

Gholdengo is always interesting to see used given the grind needed to evolve it
Honestly I just followed an Austin john video and had it evolved in about 30 minutes or so. But definitely worth doing!
Atticus's Skuntank only has Sucker Punch, Toxic, and Venoshock which means that if you have a Steel-type with a non-attacking move you can easily cheese the entire fight (if you did it like me where I used a Revavroom with Shift Gear). Eri's Toxicroak has a similar problem, in the fact that it only knows Brick Break, Poison Jab, and Sucker Punch. So while unless you level up your Gholdengo to level 63 or capture the Legendary Quartet (Treasures of Ruin), you can't cheese Eri (because Aegislash isn't in this game), it's still funny to know.
Same with Larrys Komala (using a ghost type hahaha)

I want to build a good team using Quaxly as my starter. I don't mind that much about the overlap typings (Fighting, Steel), I just want to use those poks because they're very cool!
They are all available at ant stage (except the Great Tusk, which is available after you beat the titan form)

Straight BACK to the future
Torch Song goes through Substitute because it is a sound based move. Sound Based moves always bypass Substitute as far as I'm aware
Did you know: The catchable Titan Pokémon have 30 IVs across the board. Making them the second strongest of their species.
I did not know that, but makes sense as it was so fast and strong!
@@MichaelTikTak I didn’t know that until I used the judge feature on them, and one by one, it revealed that all Titan Pokémon had Fantastic in all six stats. I thought it was coincidence and luck until I saw 3 of 5 being the same.
Ngl when I saw Espathra I thought it was psychic steel type because of how metallic it’s cry sounds a bit and how it looks a bit like a robot 🤣

If you include the first attempt, its technically 2. But when you play this game enough every battle can be planned accordingly :)

ummmm i am confusde i thoute you needed to have the leders crest to have kign gambit witch you can only get from catchign a bsharp from one of does leader bisharps ( or by usign thef on one)
So if you aren't holding a leaders crest, you need to defeat 3 Bisharp that are holding them

You can catch a wild Leader-Bisharp if you really want one, but you don't need it to evolve Bisharp, you just defeat Bisharps that have it.
Exactly, mine wasn't holding one. That's why I had to fight the ones in groups.
I 1-upped turo when i caught my shiny iron jugulis and 1-upped sada when i caught my shiny slither wing
I'm yet to find any shiny paradox Pokémon, although I haven't hunted for them either..
