- Can I beat Pokémon Scarlet with Hardcore Nuzlocke rules? (No items, No overleveling, Set mode)
HARDCORE NUZLOCKE RULES:
1. Only one Pokemon per area
2. If a Pokemon faints it must be boxed
3. I cannot overlevel beyond the Gym leaders ace
4. No items in battle (held items are okay)
5. No duplicate species can be caught
6. Must nickname Pokemon

To explain Iona's teeth: having sharp teeth is seen as cute in Japan, it's why a lot of characters have a fang. Some people genuinely do have their teeth filed like that IRL, it's pretty interesting.

OK LISTEN i ended up guessing it completely on random the first time. i defeated all the trainers for exp but never followed up on their clues. i have no idea what the chances of that are but i figure it's crazy enough that no one would believe me lol. i recorded it on my switch but all that proves is i got it right. crazy experience though i freaked out.
Idk if anyone noticed but the elite 4 and the champion are just the Titan types ground dragon steel flying and rock this is because the Titan fights are only one Pokémon while all the other fights for the other typings are actual battles thought that was cool and for those wondering how rock is involved the champions ace Pokémon is a rock type

the switch at the beginning of the game is different depending on your console, i have the let's go switch and the in game switch was also that one

The pokemon keep their old stabs when tera. They only gain a new one, if its the same type tera they get a 2,0 stab for that type
Don't think that's the case. From my understanding they change their type to a single type and get a boosted STAB for the terra type
@@MichaelTikTak I’ve seen multiple websites corroborate(? align..?) to what Crusty Nut mentioned and haven’t seen anything in game to support the opposite
To be honest I haven't tested it. But if you keep your stab for both typing when you are terra then that makes it even more broken!
@@MichaelTikTak you keep your original typings stab plus the new stab for what typing your tera is if its a type you already had like your starter being water or fighting you get an extra stab buff so instead of 1.5x its 2x so you can technically can have 3 stabs or 1 " super stab" or how i call it super effective hit for non resistant moves

Honestly every trainer can be considered easy if you prep for them..
@@MichaelTikTak if you know their teams, yeah. However, Geeta's easy even if you go in blind as long as you don't try to set up while Espathra is out. That one almost cost me.
I don't hate Geeta like others do, but she did get done dirty. Glimmora as the ace instead of the lead is just stupid. And Kingambit should be the ace, to make most out of it's ability
I think they wanted Nemona to be the real challenge because she beat Geeta herself. Therefore, you duke it out with the only other person to beat Geeta to see who the true champion is and then the last battle with the professor of your version is also a big one. I don't think they wanted Geeta to be all that strong because the real challenges come after beating her.

I always find it irritating that the lack of order is a complain. They TELL you in the beginning, that when you are lost, you can ask the lady at the pokemoncenter, which would be the next best target.
But even she isn't foolproof, because apparently she'll direct you to the _closest_ objective, not the _next recommended_ objective based on level. If I run off to South Province she can direct me to the level 45 gym while I still have level 5s

I made most my decisions based off the notes for each gym/boss battles listed on the map. To be fair it's fairly accurate, but not perfect

make the game sound boring because you used the same strategy every time. Overleveled because you never trained different pokemon. Then try to act as if the nuzlocke was tough sacking evey mon in the final fight. LOL
I played the game blind before release day lol, not sure how else I could have known the level caps? Also I was under leveled for a few big fights, including the final boss..

This isn't really a Nuzlocke you are supposed to pick the starter with a 10 sided dice 1-3,4-6 and 7-9 representing each of the starters and 10 means you can pick whoever you want and you can't pick pokemon you gotta close your eyes and start running around till you hit one the first encounter never counts cause it's forced
Maybe something I can consider for a second play through, but for my first play through I wanted to explore!
