At the age of six in 2007, Connie came in second in the debut season of Britain's Got Talent, thereby helping to launch the whole "Got Talent" franchise. She has released 4 albums already and shortly will release an EP and early next year will release album #5 on which will be a number of songs she herself has written. Connie is both a genius and a sweet little angel who is loved around the world. She is big, but she will become truly huge.

Yes, she's growing into a young lady, sad in one way, yet cool at the same time. Many fans would like to keep their tween idol forever a child, but realistically, we want her to grow into a wonderful young lady, and I think she will--so growing up is inevitable. (I have a 15 year old daughter impatient to grow up--pretty normal I'd say). As a songwriter, fan, and music lover, what impressed me the most with Connie's recent performance here was the evolution of Connie's "vocal maturity," and her excellent breath control and the use of her diaphragm muscle for a more powerful vibrato than just using her throat as she did as a younger child. Congrats, beautiful cover here Connie! We are witnessing a glimpse of how your voice is developing "power with control!" This was I think your most impressive performance I've seen or heard, especially with such a difficult song to sing with a very wide vocal range, which you didn't miss one note! I've always liked your "vocal tone coloration" with your voice--that's really the most important aspect of having a great singing voice--many folks can sing on key, but lack an interesting vocal tone. I've always thought you were a good singer for a kid, but now I think you're a great singer for a kid! Please keep being normal--you'll have a longer and more rewarding career plus a fan-base that will follow you through your entire life--and I DON"T mean that you should be "overly" conservative, after all, a star performer "needs" a forward presence/personality as your fans "want and will" idolize you. Just draw a line that you won't cross as an entertainer, unlike so many young singers "fail" to do. Once they cross that line, they stigmatize themselves and rely on theatrics for their performances rather than their music/vocal talent. So be "smart" and listen always first to your parents, then those in your music organization that you trust!

The voice is always astounding. The person is now on that journey from pretty girl to beautiful young lady. One thing I desperately hope for, and am pretty sure it will be, is that her inner beauty remains just as it is. With her brilliant family around, how can it not be.
I'm sure her moral character will be the strength for her to stand against the temptations of the world. There's plenty of agents out there who would tempt or use her. That's what happened to poor Whitney; she was on top, then tragedy took her life in so many circumstances. I'm quite sure her family roots will keep her the same gentle-hearted person she still is today, and that she will refuse to go down the path of the self-centred diva. :)
For those unfamiliar, Connie has one of the strongest characters to ever enter the public eye. Without exaggeration, she is supremely focused, disciplined, brave, and has a moral standard just shy of incredible, even for an adult. Her sense of a strong self, her unbendable good will and cheer, will make anyone who tries to manipulate her end up looking like a fool. And that is before her family, friends, and ConnieFriends even take notice. If they get involved, there would be a tidal wave of indignation and retaliation. Is there a threat from a con-man or puppet-master? I do not EVEN think so!
Those are good things to hear. I have faith in her as well, but I still fear for her at times. There's some videos on RUclips saying that Michael Jackson spoke out against the music industry, and the truth about his death is that he was murdered because of it. I began to fear a similar thing may have happened to Whitney Houston. And just now, I searched for "the truth behind Whitney Houston's death", and what do you know, there are those saying she was murdered as well. In fact, a similar thing happened to Elvis that happened to Whitney Houston, and I recently rediscovered Elvis after finding Connie, and although I've never been a big fan of him, I've found that his singing touches my heart much like Connie's, and he had a joyful heart and was always laughing like Connie. I also stumbled upon something saying Robin Williams' death was a murder as well. DMX also spoke out about the music industry, and look at the times he was arrested, and his music talks about God and values, unlike what a lot of mainstream music revels in. I didn't have time to research a lot of details, and I wouldn't include them here anyway, and I am also aware that there is a lot of garbage out there, so I don't know how much is true and how much is garbage. But I think most of us can agree that the love of money is the root of all evil, so the corruption in the music industry should not be the least bit surprising. So it's enough to make me fear for Connie. And when someone touches a person's heart as much as Connie's touched mine, you also feel what's in their heart, and I feel Connie has been having a few struggles in her music career. I can't say what those struggles are, but I feel they are there, and I feel that they are related to the corruption in the music industry. There's one thing that gives me hope, though. Whitney, Michael, DMX, and Robin were not blameless. They sold out, played the game of the mass media industry, went along with their agenda to dominate the minds of people for money. They didn't like what they were doing, and spoke out against it or wrote their own positive songs, like Michael Jackson wrote "Heal the World". And if our little angel Connie has such respect for Whitney and Michael, maybe they're not as bad as the media makes them out to be. But they sold out and they aren't blameless. Not the case with Connie. She has kept herself grounded, put the needs of others above herself, and she sings not for money or fame, but to make people happy. She hasn't sold out, and nobody can put any dirt on her like they could with the others. My advice to Connie would be beware of someone wanting to offer a huge record deal and make her lots of money and maker her famous by mass marketing her like crazy. In fact, I'd go as far as to say screw fame and fortune. That's right, screw it! Forget about it! I don't want her to stop following her dream, but I want her to do so in such a way that she's going to get used by the industry and forced to put on a bad image. My hope and prayer for Connie is that nothing will stop her from living her dream, and rather than fame from being mass marketed, that she will have many opportunities to touch more and more people with her singing and uplifting personality and continue to have a growing number of Connie friends--that's right, friends, not fans. Friends who are touched by her music and support her all the way with their love and prayers and in some cases financially if possible (at least by buying her albums), rather than fans who fawn over her just because someone paid millions of dollars to mass market her. And rather than fortune, I hope she can earn plenty of money from singing, which will allow her and her family to thrive and never have to struggle financially and be able to take time off whenever they desire, and also to support her music career, and be able to buy some of the nicest clothes available so she can look her best on stage. She doesn't need to be rich and have a huge house, just have more than enough to live off of and enough to support her music career and be able to do what she loves for a living and never have to worry about if she can continue to do so, and should not be condemned to work a dead end job just to make ends meet and sing when she can on weekends and leave herself with little free time. Maybe she could even have her own record label if she can't find one that supports her vision, but that's more for the long run. I feel her struggles, though, and I pray for her and send my heart and my love to her every day, and now I pray that God would grant her prosperity and protection, even if it takes legions of God's brightest and most powerful angels.
Kenny Bentley I think you worry too much and still do not understand how exceptional Connie is. I can tell you she has genius IQ and an ambition to do good, not be famous or rich as such. She has the capability to be a first-class writer, painter, or pianist. It is also a very real possibility she will become a medical doctor as she has sterling academic achievements and has long expressed such an ambition. She does not really need a singing career, and if she does it, it will be on her own terms.

I have been a fan of Connie since I was 9 yrs old (she was 8) and the thing I like the most about her is her innocent and confident style, in the past months she has changed a lot, as a fan i see all her updates, pics and anything related with her. All her friends have this grown up teen style, the eyebrow change (English is not my language, Idk how it's called) no fringe and different selfies. I feel like I need to protect her since I watched her grown "with me". I miss her innocent style. I still supporting and looking up to her.
I know what you mean about feeling like you need to protect her Connie has a way of touching hearts on such a deep level that you love her so much like you love your own little girl or a least like she's your niece. Oh connie, the path to growing up is a treacherous one. Just make sure to never lose that carefree smile. Personally, I don't think you should wear make-up because it does more damage than good (you already have perfect skin and features! There's really no point, it makes people look like clowns and damages natural features), but it's your call if you enjoy it or not lol. Don't follow what anyone else does, because trust me, your own style and heart is always right. Especially with you. The world is in a confused and crazy state right now, so don't let it ruin your sight of what is really right and truly happy and fulfilling. People who dislike Connie interpreting this wonderful song probably also dislike Whitney, which is imho probable only if the auditory canals are blocked in some sort of way. So let us people capable of being able to receive this auditory delicacy have mercy on the incapable and just enjoy what is not accessible to everybody.
She messed up on a few parts, and her voice is obviously not as strong . But she still killed it! She did a great job. Actually I think she has more voice than she gives out. She seems to be holding back on some of that soul in her voice. Maybe it will come with age but I can tell there was something lacking. Still Top Notch Cover and she has an amazing voice!
Rusty Smith This is an incredible version of a great song. You'll notice at about 3:45 through the end Connie really belts it out strong. I still have chills from it.

She is adorable, up today she is so authentic!. Thats why people love her. She was able to maintain her inner child intact and the same time grow and became a lovely woman. It must not have been easy with this tremendous exposure. The family has done an excellent job here and she must have had enough courage to not mees up itself and continues being a "beautiful pie". The voice is always astounding. The person is now on that journey from pretty girl to beautiful young lady. One thing I desperately hope for, and am pretty sure it will be, is that her inner beauty remains just as it is.
With her brilliant family around, how can it not be.
I'm sure her moral character will be the strength for her to stand against the temptations of the world. There's plenty of agents out there who would tempt or use her. That's what happened to poor Whitney; she was on top, then tragedy took her life in so many circumstances. I'm quite sure her family roots will keep her the same gentle-hearted person she still is today, and that she will refuse to go down the path of the self-centred diva. :)
For those unfamiliar, Connie has one of the strongest characters to ever enter the public eye. Without exaggeration, she is supremely focused, disciplined, brave, and has a moral standard just shy of incredible, even for an adult. Her sense of a strong self, her unbendable good will and cheer, will make anyone who tries to manipulate her end up looking like a fool. And that is before her family, friends, and ConnieFriends even take notice. If they get involved, there would be a tidal wave of indignation and retaliation. Is there a threat from a con-man or puppet-master? I do not EVEN think so!
Those are good things to hear. I have faith in her as well, but I still fear for her at times. There's some videos on RUclips saying that Michael Jackson spoke out against the music industry, and the truth about his death is that he was murdered because of it. I began to fear a similar thing may have happened to Whitney Houston. And just now, I searched for "the truth behind Whitney Houston's death", and what do you know, there are those saying she was murdered as well. In fact, a similar thing happened to Elvis that happened to Whitney Houston, and I recently rediscovered Elvis after finding Connie, and although I've never been a big fan of him, I've found that his singing touches my heart much like Connie's, and he had a joyful heart and was always laughing like Connie. I also stumbled upon something saying Robin Williams' death was a murder as well. DMX also spoke out about the music industry, and look at the times he was arrested, and his music talks about God and values, unlike what a lot of mainstream music revels in. I didn't have time to research a lot of details, and I wouldn't include them here anyway, and I am also aware that there is a lot of garbage out there, so I don't know how much is true and how much is garbage. But I think most of us can agree that the love of money is the root of all evil, so the corruption in the music industry should not be the least bit surprising. So it's enough to make me fear for Connie. And when someone touches a person's heart as much as Connie's touched mine, you also feel what's in their heart, and I feel Connie has been having a few struggles in her music career. I can't say what those struggles are, but I feel they are there, and I feel that they are related to the corruption in the music industry.
There's one thing that gives me hope, though. Whitney, Michael, DMX, and Robin were not blameless. They sold out, played the game of the mass media industry, went along with their agenda to dominate the minds of people for money. They didn't like what they were doing, and spoke out against it or wrote their own positive songs, like Michael Jackson wrote "Heal the World". And if our little angel Connie has such respect for Whitney and Michael, maybe they're not as bad as the media makes them out to be. But they sold out and they aren't blameless. Not the case with Connie. She has kept herself grounded, put the needs of others above herself, and she sings not for money or fame, but to make people happy. She hasn't sold out, and nobody can put any dirt on her like they could with the others.
My advice to Connie would be beware of someone wanting to offer a huge record deal and make her lots of money and maker her famous by mass marketing her like crazy. In fact, I'd go as far as to say screw fame and fortune. That's right, screw it! Forget about it! I don't want her to stop following her dream, but I want her to do so in such a way that she's going to get used by the industry and forced to put on a bad image.
My hope and prayer for Connie is that nothing will stop her from living her dream, and rather than fame from being mass marketed, that she will have many opportunities to touch more and more people with her singing and uplifting personality and continue to have a growing number of Connie friends--that's right, friends, not fans. Friends who are touched by her music and support her all the way with their love and prayers and in some cases financially if possible (at least by buying her albums), rather than fans who fawn over her just because someone paid millions of dollars to mass market her. And rather than fortune, I hope she can earn plenty of money from singing, which will allow her and her family to thrive and never have to struggle financially and be able to take time off whenever they desire, and also to support her music career, and be able to buy some of the nicest clothes available so she can look her best on stage. She doesn't need to be rich and have a huge house, just have more than enough to live off of and enough to support her music career and be able to do what she loves for a living and never have to worry about if she can continue to do so, and should not be condemned to work a dead end job just to make ends meet and sing when she can on weekends and leave herself with little free time. Maybe she could even have her own record label if she can't find one that supports her vision, but that's more for the long run. I feel her struggles, though, and I pray for her and send my heart and my love to her every day, and now I pray that God would grant her prosperity and protection, even if it takes legions of God's brightest and most powerful angels.
Kenny Bentley I think you worry too much and still do not understand how exceptional Connie is. I can tell you she has genius IQ and an ambition to do good, not be famous or rich as such. She has the capability to be a first-class writer, painter, or pianist. It is also a very real possibility she will become a medical doctor as she has sterling academic achievements and has long expressed such an ambition. She does not really need a singing career, and if she does it, it will be on her own terms.

I have been a fan of Connie since I was 9 yrs old (she was 8) and the thing I like the most about her is her innocent and confident style, in the past months she has changed a lot, as a fan i see all her updates, pics and anything related with her. All her friends have this grown up teen style, the eyebrow change (English is not my language, Idk how it's called) no fringe and different selfies. I feel like I need to protect her since I watched her grown "with me". I miss her innocent style. I still supporting and looking up to her.
I know what you mean about feeling like you need to protect her Connie has a way of touching hearts on such a deep level that you love her so much like you love your own little girl or a least like she's your niece. Oh connie, the path to growing up is a treacherous one. Just make sure to never lose that carefree smile. Personally, I don't think you should wear make-up because it does more damage than good (you already have perfect skin and features! There's really no point, it makes people look like clowns and damages natural features), but it's your call if you enjoy it or not lol. Don't follow what anyone else does, because trust me, your own style and heart is always right. Especially with you. The world is in a confused and crazy state right now, so don't let it ruin your sight of what is really right and truly happy and fulfilling. I fear for you in the industry you're in, but I know how wise and trustworthy you are. Don't let anyone ever get in the way of love and your amazing style of music :) And as Ms. Frizzle says, "Take chances, make mistakes, and get messy!" And remember, as long as you do your best and are honest and well-intentioned, you are perfect no matter what!

People who dislike Connie interpreting this wonderful song probably also dislike Whitney, which is imho probable only if the auditory canals are blocked in some sort of way. She messed up on a few parts, and her voice is obviously not as strong . But she still killed it! She did a great job. Actually I think she has more voice than she gives out. She seems to be holding back on some of that soul in her voice. Maybe it will come with age but I can tell there was something lacking. Still Top Notch Cover and she has an amazing voice!

She is adorable, up today she is so authentic!. Thats why people love her. She was able to maintain her inner child intact and the same time grow and became a lovely woman. It must not have been easy with this tremendous exposure. The family has done an excellent job here and she must have had enough courage to not mees up itself and continues being a "beautiful pie". That is what a real star, but more importan, a beauty person are made of.
