Michael sweet is one of the best voices in metal. Up there with Halford and Tate. Since he's a straight edge Christan and never messed up his body. He sounds just as good as he did 30 years ago.
The instrumentation is great. Michael Sweet apparently can't reach the falsetto in the "Calling On You" pre-chorus anymore (1:40). But the mix is pretty good, the drumming is excellent, and the lead guitar work is great for a live performance. Altogether a pretty solid performance for guys pushing sixty.
I saw this band in 1988 and they rocked incredibly. I saw them 30 years with my son and they sounded even better... this is one of the best underrated band simply because of what they stood for.. Michael Sweet is one of the best iconic rock vocalists and the harmonies are unbelievable live...

Saw these guys in FL on the To Hell With The Devil Tour. I can't remember the other bands. I know they weren't Christian that's for sure. I still have my little Bible Stryper threw out to us in the crowd. I was truly touched by their music although I did ride the fence for 37 more years before I recently came back to Christ. I'm now catching up with Michael's current music and reminiscing with old Stryper music.

My absolutely favorite band is Motley Crue in 1983 as a kid... I found STRYPER in 1986 and they became my second favorite band equal to me as ying/yang, Crue and Stryper were that for me in the 80's. With Crue I could be myself and let it all out and Stryper was were I would draw the line holding me back from pure darkness.

I remember they had their own helicopter at one time! Man they packed the stadiums in southern Cali! When i last heard Ozzfoxx Started promoting in secular sector but mainly became and instructor in bass guitar and vocal but that was just hearsay! You always hear thing that you don't know what is true or not ! but man after all these years they haven't lost it in music they sound Like they did back then ! Love it ! Its good to see them get back together for this now that i am in Spring hill this was during the pandemic no>?
