- Welcome Patrick Coar back to the channel. In this video he gives us a tour of a converted school bus skoolie RV he has been enjoying with his friends on trips across the country. It is about the same size as a tiny house but can be driven all over the Country.

I have seen a lot of school bus transformation. So many with luxury decorations and build up. But honest to you, this one it's been the Best.

This build provides the DIY person who hasn't had a lot of experience besides a hammer and a circular saw, hope to be able to follow his design. Great storage use under the bunk beds so no upper cabinets. Love the paint colors he chose to paint the exterior. Thanks for sharing.

Better than having slide outs. Lots of common sense build. Holding 8 people with indoor outdoor shower 🚿 storage and air-con - what else I missed. 😜

That tub tho!!! I love this bus...this is a lot like I'd want my bus to look like. Bunks, inside access to the garage, that dinette, that sink, those window shades...it's all so easy and simple. Really love this!

I converted a school bus to a hunting camper back in 2000 and still drive and camp to this day. Keeps me high and dry. Mine has a big block Chevrolet with a 5 speed standard transmission. Does really good on and off road, if it's not muddy. I put a side door in mine so I could carry 2 full size ATV'S . But back in the Obama days they stopped ATV riding in most forest areas so now its a good place for my hunting equipment.
Keeping it simple while thinking practicality ... very well thought out!

Patrick as always another great video. I love the simplicity of this build. Patrick came up with some amazing simple ideas. We own & utilize a 31' Thor hurricane motor home. I would off it in a second for this Skoolie. My wife of 43 years would shut down that idea In a nano second. Lol

First on the video- I love the quick fast-forward tour through the bus to get a general overview. So many videos like this have way too much time talking before showing anything.
Second on the exterior color scheme- Beautiful!

You speak very well and easy to follow. You make it seem like anyone can do this. You're like a"shop teacher",who helps All his students feel confident that they can build almost anything. You could probably sell tutorials to the school board on building "skoolies" 😅😅👍

Lots of creative use of spaces
You certainly have thought of everything, this is simplistic and the best natural looking skoolie I have seen. I love it...the shower is genius. Everybody has a fan. LOL. The table on the outside of the bus is awesome you can also put a deck that folds down for cooking and sitting...the storage is great under the beds, everywhere. Safe travels...

Consider the enclosed wet or dry bath. In a space this big would be easy!
Kudos to you for being able to separate/peel that mattress. We tried it once, self and a friend...complete disaster

Great bathtub/shower idea.
Wow pretty much just bought that same bus! However my bus came with the rust, but it has hydraulic brakes. And I agree 100% with not putting slats of wood in the bus floor(I’m just gonna put 2” of rigid foam and then 3/4” of plywood.), just going with the foam and then the plywood. We’ve been doing it like this for years when we do house renovation.
Well least I have a lot more inspiration for my build, I just bought a wire brush today so I can do some rust sanding tomorrow

This so far has been my favorite and I’ve looked at a lot. Planning on doing something that will sleep the family and some friends sometimes. Been pulling ideas off some people and so far this one is giving me a good base for idea. Just wasn’t sure about sizing and how much space the kids would need

Nice.....except 4.....no bathroom sink....a BIG one 4me. Especially when you travel with so many people, a 2nd sink...a drop-down one would be my choice because the toilet area is so cramped....would be imperative. If I'm scrubbing potatoes 🥔 in the kitchen sink, the last thing I want is someone to wash their hands ✋️ over my potatoes 🥔.
PS....just saw your idea for a shower/tub......bubblebath here I come! Very creative and clever 👌.
PSS......"Progressive" insures Skooleys and older RV's.
