The Arpanoid claims to be "The first dedicated compact polyphonic pitch arpeggiator effect pedal for electrical guitar". I guess it is, then. All claims aside, though, it is certainly a pedal that will challenge and/or inspire you. I like to mix my Arpanoid with some Dispatch Master for floaty cascading nothingness tones - as demonstrated. Is it a tone machine? No. Is it a whole of fun? A whole lot of yes.

this pedal is gorgeous. but perhaps the fatal mistake was EQD making this thing without Tap tempo. I wish there was a way around this because I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
agreed, seems like anytime you'd want to use it- you'd have to start the song so your drummer could play live to your arpeggio rate.. if it was tap tempo you could add it anywhere.. breaks my heart coz i love the sounds.
100%, I'm amazed at how overlooked this is in each of the few arpeggiator pedals out there on the market
I was literally dead set on buying it till you said this lmao.
I'll probably still pick it up to use with my ms20 but it's definitely lower on my priorities list now
Completely agree. I feel that way about a lot of eqd pedals. They missed out big time not adding it. Perhaps it would have not been possible with this size enclosure, but if they made a version with tap, they would sell them out so quickly. It is a beautiful sounding arpeggiator, but I sold mine because I pretty much couldn't use it in a band context unless it was used in the intro, but then time signature changes made it ineffective afterwards.
I actually have this pedal and lack of tap tempo is my biggest complaint. Honestly, it makes the pedal more trouble than it’s worth sometimes.
Shoot! I was not expecting to like this, but it sounds awesome, especially the random modes. Now I want one.
This pedal interferes with my computer monitor.
Arpeggiator pedal without tap tempo makes little sense.
Interesting pedal, but I think you would get more out of it by winding the dry right back. Would have liked to have heard more with almost no dry signal.
i need this in my life
Do you like to run your Dispatch Master after the Arpanoid?
It sounds like he does
Set the step very low,and you've got a nice, weird chorus pedal.
Hm, tracking seem to be working, when you know, how to play only 2 notes ... guess you have to play very precise. Funny little box ... could be a nice live tool if you play ambience or trance.
Thanks for demoing!
I love you and your channel so with all due respect, I'm always a little disappointed when I want to hear what an effect pedal sounds like (that I'm considering buying) when it's immediately mixed in with other pedals. I have to imagine it without the accompanying effect.
Does it arpeggiate chords? How is it "polyphonic" ?
Sold.
Can Slicer mode in Boss MD-500 do something similar?
Too pricey for me but looks like fun.
Was that amp reverb at the end of the video?
Baba O'Riley?
Mort Garson vibes
Hmm, this is one i am not so enamored of Brett, but your presentation is great as always.
Instant Cocteau Twins in a box
Weird pedal - I don't know what anyone would use this for
Ambient rock. :)
I would use it as an arpeggiator.
Perhaps you could consider that your particular musical taste is somewhat limited. I’m “anyone”, and I can think of dozens of uses for this pedal. Simply from watching a few RUclips clips.
Open your mind ffs.
