Welcome to another Paint with Me video. Today’s video features the iris flower in a loose style using watercolor inks. Even though I’ve taken a break from filming long format videos, I’ve been painting and creating still.
Lately, I’ve been drawing and painting the Iris flower quite a bit and I thought it would be the perfect subject for creating a loose, flowy composition using my newly acquired Dr. Ph Martin Radiant Concentrated Watercolor Inks. I just love how vibrant the inks are and how they flow and move. They are pretty magical. 🎩
I’ve also taken up Ceramics and I just wrapped up a semester of Handbuilding at my local ceramic studio. In this video, you will see two hand-built pieces that I’ve created. One is a brush holder and the other is the lilac water container that turned out smaller than expected so I might end up using it as a planter.
Note: The painting took around 45 minutes to complete and my phone struggled with filming the entire process. There is missing footage from when the phone overheated at times.
