You can't go wrong either way. The ANBERNIC or Miyoo Mini Plus is great quality build portrait Linux based handhelds. I replaced my Miyoo Mini with my new 280V. Gave my Miyoo Mini to my little brother, his hands are better for it. I currently have 2 portrait handhelds in my collections both are ANBERNICS. The ANBERNIC RG280V (Silver Black) and the ANBERNIC RG351V (Wood Grain). There is only 1 more portrait handheld I have in mind and that is the TRIMUI Smart Brick, which has not been confirmed or released yet.
If I understand correctly, the new Onion CFW is out which allows owners to move the card between the Miyoo Mini V2 and Miyoo+ model. I only have an original Mini but the idea of my old save states being easily accessible makes the Miyoo+ the better option for me.
Really considering the RG35xx due to availability and better build quality than the Miyoo Plus. I don't want to stalk their page just to be able to buy then possibly receive a faulty one with the screen not being in place or being delaminated in a few weeks.
Personally, I think the upper hand is still in the rg35xx territory, not because of technical/practical reasons, but its availability. Regardless, both devices are great options and have strong communities behind them. In my opinion, the deciding factors (at equal availability) are the preferences between wifi vs internal clock and size (in my case I feel the anbernic is already "too small") I hope at some point we can have this class of devices with available bluetooth and consistent tv output for playing on the TV (even though the understand how bad it will look to play VGA or lower in modern TVs, one can dream!)
Well done, sir! I think the overall similarity of these devices makes them both a good choice. I find myself using the Miyoo Mini + more often, and that's because of the flat nature of the trigger buttons (when you lay it down the back is flat and doesn't have the triggers sticking out ) and the fantastic weight and balance overall. It just feels better in the hand to me. One thing I'm curious about, what have you played on these that makes use of R2 and L2? I'm assuming it's a PS1 game but to date I haven't played anything that needed them. Keep up the good work and thanks for another great video
both are great devices but the rg35xx is just even better imo. with your video demo it shows 35xx pretty much locked to the highest fps while the mini plus dips -2fps. with batocera 35xx is getting even more ground covered psp, nds, n64, dreamcast. i dont think the mini plus could do any of those.
In almost every way the Anbernic is superior. I think people just like the mini because its smaller, and has smaller screen bezels. The Anbernic being slightly bigger only makes it more comfortable and practical to actually use for long periods, more powerful, sharper display, more storage, and more potential. No brainer for me but I guess hype trumps logic these days. Also how loud are those Miyoo face buttons?! I just watched the Tekken part of your video. That would get so annoying for you and anyone around you
Please give the video a like let’s get 300 likes on this video who will help?
I always hit the like.. Even if I hate em 🤣😉
I do. Thanks for your job. I've just ordered RG35xx
Want a miyoo mini. Not going to pay 150 quid. Got a rgv wood one perfect for me
Done!
Is it possible to play multiplayer?????? with other systems like RG351M RG353p RG552..
We are really spoiled for choice now. Never get bored of these devices charms!!
I know what you mean man
Just got my RG35XX the other day and powkiddy A30...just waiting on the SF2000 now 🙏🏽

@@SonicLoveEmulation it's a great little machine...I stuck the satisfye joycon grips to mine and it's a thousand times more comfortable 🙏🏽
Can't really go wrong with either one. Just got the Miyoo Mini + and am digging it.
it’s a lovely little handheld I have to say
Me too

Rg280v will always have a place in my heart and I still use it today man

Yea you can do that buddy

Im in the same boat
thanks for the comparison - if i would want one it would be a tough decision
Definitely I love the miyoo mini but I do think overall the 35XX might be the better choice
Great job mate soo difficult to choose which one both really excellent handhelds
Thanks man, great little handhelds to take on the go with
Looks good either way.
Another thing to factor is availability
very true but you can still get them more now than the start
@Sonic Love Emulation good point.
I went with the rg35xx, love anbernics build quality 👌
Great video. Still not sure which one to get 😅
ha ha oh dear…only one thing to do then…get both
@@SonicLoveEmulation ahahaha 😂 you probably right.
Get them both!
Im really enjoying my MM+. Especially now that Onion OS 4.2 is out
they are both very good in my opinion and I think at the moment the os is better on the Miyoo Mini for now
Por favor, mete los juegos de Atomiswave de los que también hay ports para la Dreamcast, los de Model 2 y Model 3 de los salones recreativos.
Will do

I think so man, especially when batocera is finished, I just love the miyoo mini plus because I used the OG mini so much

and thank you good sir, for your precious time to watch the video. and it’s fighting games mostly use L2,R2 for 6 button layouts see
@@SonicLoveEmulation ah! Yes that explains it. I'm a racing/rpg guy myself
L2 and R2 are used in the Final Fantasy games. All four shoulder buttons plus start and select is soft reset. Also in FF8, escape is L2 plus R2.
@@tristanheron4144 thanks!
👍👍👍
thanks man
Sega fan channel! 😎👍🏻
Ha ha I love all systems but my favourite game of all time is sonic 1
I see a lot of reports of the screen falling off on the miyoo mini plus
Mine was fine and I have 2 of them so I can’t say how bad it actually is, I would say it’s like the first batch maybe but now it should be fine
They’re basically the same thing. You can’t go wrong with either. Personally I went 35xx simply because of louder speaker

It’s a tough one that’s for sure but I think when batocera if finalised it be the best out the 2
if i were you, i would have redone the intro the get rid of the outside cars.
other than that great video!
To be honest with you it was so hot but I did shut it in the end and thank you Nicolas…glad you liked it
Miyoo mini plus ♥️
it’s awesome
RG35XX all the way!

Gotta clean those dpads before video lol
you could also say it’s well used ha ha
Hey Mr sonic . Where I live a person has a stall that sells games . He's Mr sonic . Sound like you. And wear gloves. I will say it's east
anglia
Not me buddy but definitely sounds like me with the gloves ha ha
Not enough battery power for the price. You might get 2hrs of use out of these. Original Gameboy last over 20 hours.
BULGE!!!! 😂😂😂
hope you liked the video
@@SonicLoveEmulation NEVER a let down there. You absolutely ROCK Sonic!!!
