They had one of these at Megabowl/Arena 1 in Bristol in the 90s! One time it bugged out and gave endless free plays. Me and dad had our fun with it for about an hour before passing on the 'secret 'to the next interested player to come along. Great machine! This and Star Trek TNG were my pinball childhood.
That is just absolutely *STUNNING* !! T2 was the first pinball I really played when it came out, had always previously only played video games, they had this table at Pleasure Island in Liverpool where we used to play Quasar (amongst a few other places, one in Southport as well, tho it was very tired last time I saw it years ago.). If I could only own one table, this would be it.
Ant makes my attempt at refurbishment seem meager. Truly astounding machine. Makes me want a T2 knowing full well however that I could never replicate this perfection.
Oh good grief that's something else! I love everything but the apron and coin door are spectacular. I have a lot of nostalgia for T2, they had one at our bowling alley in Ipswich in the early 90s, we played it to death and definitely sparked my love for pinball
I bet this looks absolutely stunning in a dimly lit room. (Not trying to convey that it isn't already amazing as clearly demonstrated in the clip.) What an improvement!
That is just wow, thanks to the owner for sharing that with you. I cannot imagine how he was feeling the first time playing that when he finally was happy with the restore. You mentioned a Fish Tales restore, hopefully there is a vid of that, my fav machine from my misspent youth.
He Chad, I'm sure he'll check the comments and be delighted to read such positive feedback. The next project is Adams Family which we'll be following closely.
Thanks for your positive comments Chad. On my first game since finishing I noticed How much faster it played. And all the finger prints left on the chrome 😂. As Gonzo mentioned, my TAF is next along with someone else’s I’m doing, but after that it will be either Fish Tails or my Indiana Jones.
I appreciate your feedback 👍🏻. It’s funny you say that, a lot of people I’ve shown this to at home, who have absolutely zero interest in pinball, really like it and wanted to see photos of what it looked like before.
@@anth7709 I played pinball in the sixties and seventies, but these days just occasionally on PS4 :) You've really made that machine zing. It appeals to me in the same way that early Wurlitzer jukeboxes do.
The pinnacle of pinball beauty! WOW! And it’s done on the best pinball from the 90s (I’m biased). I played the hell out of T2 at Grand Prix Race-o-Rama back in the early 90s. A few quarters of mine were deposited into that game. Job well done, and thank you for sharing this absolute work of art!
Awesome! Table Just to think back in the day re production & logistics. It (the pintable) was in US cinemas foyers alongside the release of film, 31 years ago. Truly jaw dropping. Respect!😎
That’s just pure pinball porn ! 😍 T2 was the first movie themed pinball I ever played, and I instantly fell in love with it, this vid brought back memories of me playing it in my local cafe, back in the early 90s. Can’t wait to see it in the flesh at pinfest
This is one of the most amazing pinball restorations I have ever seen , and an incredible creative effort from Ant .....however Ant loses marks, as the "10 Million " insert lamp on the left loop is not functioning and the obsessive in me is screaming to get it fixed :D🤣😂
😂 Thanks mate. I initially had 3 lamps that had ghosting issues and like you, with my obsessiveness, it was doing my nut in. I’ve since got the newest rom update which includes the ghosting fix which should fix those 3 ghosting insert bulbs. Just need to install it now 😂
@@anth7709 I'm working on a BOP and after I seen this video, I was like "I quit" 🤣. In all seriousness, you did a fantastic job. I've never seen any pin that detailed. You should be totally proud!
There are clearly no words to describe something like this other than "pure perfect art". In fact, I would be scared to death of actually playing it and risk damaging such perfection. Obviously, there's only 2 questions I want answered: 1) How much did it cost and 2) How many total hours invested. My guess is that there probably isn't a price short of well into 6 digits (dollar-wise) that would come close to estimating cost of the labor involved. Literally every screw and bolt down to the very back of the cabinet (that no one sees) are perfect.
Thanks for feedback, I really appreciate it. To answer your questions, In regards to cost, I wasn’t really keeping count. As I did 95% of the work, labour costs wasn’t really an issue as it was just my spare time. The biggest expense was the chroming for sure, followed by the new playfield. One thing I do regret was not keeping track of the man hours I spent on it. I worked on it, on and off for last 12 months. Going forward with my Addams Family restore, I’m definitely noting down the hours I spend on that 👍🏻
@@anth7709 Yeah, although you might be sick when you see the total amount of time. I gotta ask, what do you do full-time? I bet it's something very detail oriented.
Thanks a lot 👍🏻. I’ve been asked this question quite a bit. Unfortunately as I worked on it, on and off throughout the year I didn’t keep track of the amount of hours I spent on it, which I regret not doing. Some days it was just a hour or so, others the whole day. Going forward Im definitely keeping note of the hours.
Amazing work. If i can point out one major flaw, the endoskeleton picture on the left side of the top verticle pannel with that shows the score, the image is reversed 😅 the endoskull's cpu circle should be on the left side like all the other portraits ❤
Wow, extremely impressive! How much did this restoration cost? I have a Medieval Madness and Addams Family I would love to have restored at a level of quality similar to this.
Pinball is doing tremendously well in the states . . . thriving in fact. As for the dialect . . . . it's English. We recorded it in London (England) 😉😂
I play this nearly everyday. The only finger prints you get are on the bottom of the side rails and top of the lock down bar and they easily wipe off 👍🏻
Amazing, I love this machine, I used to play it as a kid in the arcade, this looks incredible.
Just incredible never seen a restoration to this level before congrats
Thanks alot 👍🏻
That's more impressive design & fabrication than I've seen at some car shows. Congrats on putting it all together, too cool

That’s one example of the definition of a restoration! Top details
The title of this video is spot on, stunning table - thankyou for sharing!
Amazing Job!! We have just purchased a rebuilt T2. It needs many improvements and some minor repairs. Thank you for the inspiration!

Pinball machines is gorgeous, but as an American, I’m jealous of that UK variant TMNT NES set I saw in the background!
Good eye 😂. I did wonder if anyone noticed it in the corner. It’s the TMHT (Hero) variant. The word Ninja was far to violent for us in the UK 😂
WOW. All that Chrome is Beautiful!
Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it. Chrome is beautiful for sure, but also irritating as hell with all the finger prints 😂
One of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen.
