Great job, well done. Gives me a kick to start my project in 2024 (LR88, RHD, 1976, 2.25l). What engine did you install? Did you really fabricate the asdapter plate by yourself?

Thank you! It's 2.5 diesel. I drew the adapter plate and it was cut on laser CNC. The middle part of it served only for centering so it was cut out later with the hand saw.....

@slightlytuned what tyres are those? I’ve got a set of the same rims that I would like to put those tyres on. I want to make sure I get the right size.

@@hendo7715 bf Goodrich all terrain t/a 235/85R16 ... but make sure to seal the nuts that are connecting outer rim and middle part otherwise you can't use tubeless tires they will probably lose air

Is that engine from a Peugeot Boxer or Fiat? Again, good workmanship and a perfectly done.

From Fiat Ducatto 2.5D but all markings on it are Iveco, there is not a single Fiat marking on it.... Also the new push clutch was needed for LR gearbox since it came with the pull type clutch. The new clutch was ordered for Renault master and it fitted perfectly 🙂, so apparently there is the same iveco engine block on different brands but different clutch layout, head and outer parts. Thanks you! 😊

@@slightlytuned Good 👍🏽 I guess the 2.5D engine will match the ability of the LT series gearbox without issues. It’s interesting because 200TDI’s have been fitted to Series Land Rovers for economical purposes and maybe better performance all round. I love my series for it’s plain simplicity and practical ability.
Looking forward to seeing the finished product 😊
