Keep in mind, the repeat mode in midnight setting is ideal in a tent at night. Anything higher is generally too much. Also, the clip is multi directional although deep carry mode is singular. I know this because I have the Baton 3 pro which is almost identical except for max on the Baton is 1500 lumens.
I have owned the WM2, sold it and tried it again. When I carried it emitter head down, I felt the pocket clip gave me "hot spots" in my palm while using a hammer grip. The second time purchasing the WM2, I left the pocket clip emitter head up and in this presentation the hot spot issue while gripping the flashlight in a hammer grip was non-existent. My 2nd WM2 I used the outer part of the clip to carry the light emitter head down, except this caused more of the tail to stick up, and this was no different from any other "tactical tail cap" flashlight that I have used (Thrunite TN12 Pro, Powertac E9R). One reason why I sold both of my WM2 was that tail switch I found very inaccurate, when I tried to activate it. Many times those three tail stand protrusions would inhibit my thumb from pressing the switch. This WM3 looks like they have resolved the issue, coupled with the fact that I am happy to see Olight returning to a pointy front bezel again. I am eager to try it, thank you for sharing.
There should always be a one click strobe setting on a tactical torch. Two clicks isn't so bad, but one click (as on my Olight Striker) is much better. Not having it is a bit of a design fail.
well, is it just mine that heats up to the point of burning my hand after a few seconds on turbo? This did not happen with the first generations. I'm disappointed
The warrior 3 has a longer running battery charge and a slightly further out beam, but the baton 3 still has good runtimes and is more small and easy to carry. I think you need the runtimes more if you are hiking (like I do), but its not so important in the city or in your car because they will both last all night. So you will be able to recharge them in time unless you are outdoors for more than one day. I actually have the warrior mini 2 AND warrior mini 3. The warrior 3 isnt *better* its just *different*. The warrior 3 beam goes slightly further out than the warrior 2. However, the warrior mini 2 has a wider beam so it illuminates a broader area. Also warrior 2 has longest runtimes of all these 3 torches I mentioned. I own several olights like the seeker 3 pro, warrior x turbo (which is huge but has a 1000 metre beam like a darn lighthouse) the perun 2 headlamp, the freya, the marauder etc. As someone who owns several, my favourite 'all rounder' is actually the 'warrior x3'. That one is quite a bit bigger than the baton3/warrior mini, but it isnt huge. It sure *wont* fit in your jeans pocket BUT it isnt too big for a coat pocket (and it has a belt pouch). The warrior x3 is a compact medium sized torch but can throw out a 500 metre beam and is a real spotlight. In a building or in the streets, the warrior mini or baton are perfect. However, I find for big open woods or a beach they are a bit too small. I have walked home in the countryside with the warrior x3 and it is pretty amazing for that. Hope all this helps?
Has anyone noticed that the mounting bracket will drain your battery? I have a Baton 3 that loses battery power if it’s hooked up to that bracket for extended periods of time.
Bezel up carry is a non starter for me. I don’t understand why they force you to carry bezel up. They did the same thing with the baton 3 pro. No thanks. They need to rethink this.
I had a very bad experience with this lamp and would advise against purchasing it. The sensor rarely works and dims even under the best conditions. The service couldn't find the problem and that's why I now have an expensive but useless lamp.
No bezel down carry = no purchase!! This light is a big NOOOOO for me. can't believe that Olight released this light as bezel up only carry. Such a huge mistake on their part, and they will pay for it in the long run. This light is DOA.
The pocket clip has both built into one. I never understood why no one sees the second clip on these flashlights? And if that dosnt satisfy you enough on the olight store the flashlight is pictured with some sort of adapter that allows you to attach the clip on the tail end.
Wow.. a pull tab. I really want one of those.

Yes, I agree an adjustable clip would be better. I personally just need -low medium and High, modesBit I still like it.
Bezel down, tail up, that's the way I like to 😩

Damm it was just a month ago and I bought warrior min 2 lava one on sale ❤ new subscriber thanks. I do like the lock out mode
They have the adapter clip bracket out already if you bought the wm3 before it came out they will send you one for free if you contact olight service

Theres an adapter now that lets you reverse the clip. Free if you order anything from their site
For my first olight should I get the warrior mini 3 or the baton pro 3 ?

Baton 3 Pro.
Baton3 pro. I have one in NW (neutral white emitter). Better spot/flood combination than Warrior mini3. Very nice.
Baton 3 pro
Thanks
can you use the magnetic pressure switch like the original warrior mini and warrior 3 full size
They are working on an adapter for a bezel down carry in the near future

No, you're just dumb
The sensor will only work if the sensor is blocked from the every first instance. For example, if it comes on in your pocket the sensor will kick in.
But it's bezel up... So I guess like in a pocket without the clip?
@@outerlimitlessI think a bag, shirt tail, body, etc. would probably catch it.
I would remove the clip completely it looks like it would bother me all the time.

I've heard they are already working on a solution for this but nothing official yet
All those products die after a year... Sigh.

@tauchen4182, did you have the mini 2 or mini 3?
Worrior Mini 3@@josephgrn2818
WHEN YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE A VIDEO, YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS TO EXPLAIN WELL WHAT YOU ARE SAYING AND HOW THE ARTICLE WORKS. FINGERS DOWN FOR THAT.🙄🙄🙄
You can swap the clip on the mini 3 to be lens down
