I just want to say thank you for posting this , i have done several of my own piercings and i recently fell in love with this conch piercing and had to have it. I did it myself and its super straight like a pro did it thanks to you. I watched where you placed the dot to get the best angle and i searhed for veins and everything. The only thing i didnt do was poerce fast it take me an hr to do my piercings but when I go slow my body doesn't swell and my piercings heal so much better. Im so happy this video was here thanks
I have the cannula needles and all the supplies but I didn’t know how the jewelry went in afterwards. Your video was so helpful, and done with all the safety precautions to avoid infection. Thanks so much for making this video. 😊👍
I really love watching you pierce yourselve. You have all the right equipment and even wear gloves!! I'm not a big fan of home piercings (evenntho I've been there myself) since i usually have to correct them when people come into the studio with infections and what not but this is really good!! AlsO. REMEMBER PEOPLE: If you have hard cartilage in your ears then piercings will be more painful then if you have soft cartilage. And also healing will be easier. But pain tolerance is different for everyone. And don't for the love of everything holy!! get ring installed IF there is any cartilage involved in the placement of your piercings. It will take forever to grow and it will be sore and painful for a long time😩 my conch took 11months to heal cause my old piercer took a 14mm ring in it and i didn't sleep well for 3 weeks before I got it changed to a labret...
R u a professional piercer? If so, is it a good idea for me (a 15 yo girl) to do it by myself or is that too dangerous? I plan on doin my 2nd and 3rd lobe piercings myself but idk about doin any cartiage piercings, wut do u think? Also the reason why I have to do my piercings by myself is because my mom wont let me get any in the cartilage area and is gonna make me wait so long for 2nd and 3rnds lol.
Tip: you need to boil something for at least 30 minutes before its sterilized (if you boil your needles or jewelry), and you should use anti-bacterial ointment for lubricant, such as Neosporin. Its safe for open wounds and prevents infections. The conch is the most problematic piercing out of all of my piercings. It took over a year to heal, and its in the center of your ear so if you touch anywhere on your ear, its going to hurt. My hair always got caught in it, honestly so not worth it for me. I hope it heals fine for you, but its going to take a while.
My conch was completely fine for the first few months, then it got a little scabby but that healed up. That one and my Tragus have been the most worth-while of all my piercings. I'm getting 2 more conch piercings, so i might have a different experience with them.
A conch isn't the most problematic piercing in general tho , you just had aware bad experience. And if you get it done at a shop , less chance of infection and if your given the proper cleaning advice , priya knows what she's doing she's very sensible , ointment (if you were a piercer) is very bad to put on a piercing as if it gets into the fresh piercing it can cause irritation , migration or it can reject . As you can see from the video she used a Canula to pierce with , which are pre sterilised to even hospital standards
@@sophieslifesubtome7147 I was clear that i was talking about my experience. Also she used vasiline. Anti bacterial ointment is also safe for open wounds. She previously always used metal needles, and she has sometimes just put them in a cup of boiling water before, which isn't sterilizing. I was just giving tips for her.
Yuzuru Library , yes I can see that , but she is training to be a piercer now . She knows what she's doing which is why she doesn't use the other needles now
I just did mine and surprisingly it didn’t hurt as bad as I thought! Definitely should’ve used Vaseline though because it was super difficult to push through and pull out. Now I just pray it heals well, because I’m in love with it already! 🙌🏻
i got my septum done last week and its bc of ur vids that i knew what to expect and had the great experience i did !! love u and ur content girl, and ur conch looks amazing
What a great video! First i can see the concentration in your eyes and than so wonderful near, your work on your ear. Excellent job Priya and Jaan! Yes, and so safy: You look with a light, are there veins? And the happiness in your eyes, after the piercing is done. To you, i really would come for get a piercing from you! I love your work, and i believe in your work ♥ :)
Yes the initial piercing of the conch isn't too bad..... I'm stretching mine to a 0g..... the stretching, that's where it hurts. Especially if it gets infected (which it did going from 8g to 6g) great vid!
My bf pierced me at home. He has never done this before qnd I'm impressed with how he placed the earrings. It hurt but didnt throb I guess hes sharp and smooth in piercing has helped.
I need a pierced to react to this so I know if I did it right lmao. About 4 months ago I did exactly what you did lol and I see no problem with any of it.
hey Priya, I'm a huge fan of your videos and I've been watching them for ages. And I would rlly like to get my septum pierced. I'm 15, I live in Melbourne and I have pierced myself plenty of times I just don't trust myself to pierce my septum. So I was wondering if you could possibly pierce my septum for me. I would be willing to pay a reasonable price and bring my own jewellery if needed and meet up where ever is near you, no stress if you cant xx
I pierced my septum and it came out great and is healing really well. since you are 15, if schools do open up and they aren't allowed in your school, bend the horseshoe before you pierce and make sure you can slip it through the lower part of your septum :)
i don't know about age limits on piercings where you live but i really recommend going to a professional! supporting local businesses who are properly trained especially after a pandemic when they are at risk of shutting down is a better alternative in my opinion :)
Actually usually the needle is smaller than the jewellery to "plug" the wound. That is the only way it won't bleed because there isn't any room for the wound to bleed 😊
oh wow you definitely know what you're doing. legit ready to pay someone to pierce me rn, waiting another 6 weeks until melb lockdown ends is gonna kill me
Is it possible to use ear buds with the conch? I have an appointment tomorrow but I'm worried that I'm not gonna be able to use earbuds after I've done done it. Gonna switch it to a ring when it's fully healed. Any thoughts?
A lot of surface piercings are rejected by our body anyways so i think it’s pretty normal for hers to do so regardless of it being done professionally or done at home.
I see you in the comments section of almost every one of her videos. I mean honestly, have you nothing better to do with your time? Yeah, she pierced herself at home, but she’s learned a lot and come a long way from where she started. I don’t understand why you keep watching her videos if you know you’re not going to like them.
there is a girl called "duygu özaslan" she is a turkish youtuber i think your ears are similar to hers and she has lots of piercings just search for her!!!
Sometimes my mum asks me "why do you want to do it at home, with the money you spend on material you could get it done with someone else" but I just love to know I was able to do it myself.
Priya : gets shot in the leg
