    I was friends with a surgeon. [Her] malpractice insurance costs per year were more than most households make by quite a bit. I believe she complained that she was paying over a quarter million dollars per year and never even had a malpractice claim against her.

    Abolish lawsuits against doctors and the problem goes away.
